Rohit’s group builds and implements credit models, develops data-driven insights about banking operations, and advises financial institutions on both business strategy and product development. Prior to joining First Access, Rohit worked at Bridgewater Associates, the largest hedge fund in terms of assets under management. At Bridgewater, Rohit was responsible for portfolio assessment, trade oversight, and risk /management. Prior to Bridgewater, he worked as a consultant at Oliver Wyman specializing in the financial sector. At Oliver Wyman Financial Services, he advised retail banks and insurance companies on engagements focusing on loan origination and underwriting, mortgage delinquency, and new financial product development. Rohit holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. ENGIN AKÇAKOCA, Senior International Consultant, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Mr. R. Engin Akçakoca received his undergraduate degree from Middle East Technical University- Turkey and started his career in banking in 1974. He served as the Deputy CEO of Koç-Amerikan Bank during 1986-1991 and as the CEO of Koçbank A.Ş. in 1991-2000. In 2001 R. Engin Akçakoca was appointed as the CEO of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency and the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) and took part in combatting the “heaviest financial crisis” in Turkey, during which 4 state-owned banks were restructured; private banks went through a recapitalization process; 18 banks under the SDIF were resolved and international regulatory/supervisory standards were introduced. Akcakoca is now advising various Central Banks and Banking Supervision Agencies on behalf of some International Financial Institutions on banking supervision and resolution related issues. ROHIT ACHARYA, Chief Data Scientist, First Access First Access combines financial and mobile data to reliably predict credit risk for borrowers in informal markets and make financial products more affordable. Rohit’s group builds and implements credit models, develops data-driven insights about banking operations, and advises financial institutions on both business strategy and product development. Prior to joining First Access, Rohit worked at Bridgewater Associates, the largest hedge fund in terms of assets under management. VALERIA ALVAREZ, Data Analyst, Financial Systems, Banco de México In August 2013, Valeria, joined the General Affairs Financial System Sector Unit as Financial Information Analysis Manager at Banco de Mexico. Her main role is to provide reliable information to the different Directorates report to the Directorate General. Among its main projects it is to ensure the quality of information that financial institutions report to the Credit Information Companies (SICs); use it for micro and macro prudential purposes in the context of supervision and regulation of banking and financial system. Prior to joining the Bank of Mexico she worked as Deputy Director General of risk methodologies in the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), where its main duties included the development of risk regulatory models for the bank loan portfolio. In addition, she participates in financial projections exercises and stress test scenarios. In 2010 Ms. Alvarez authored a paper on “Actuarial approaches to the price of credit insurance housing simultaneously considering the risk of default and prepayment" presented in South Africa at the International Actuaries Congress and also co-authored the award paper on “Risk Models for Housing Credit Insurance”.

ALEJANDRO ALVAREZ DE LA CAMPA, Principal Financial Specialist, Finance and Markets Practice, World Bank Group Alejandro is the Global Product Leader for the World Bank Group’s Global Secured Transactions and Collateral Registries advisory product. Before this position, he held other positions in IFC, in the Small and Medium Enterprise Department and in the Foreign Investment Advisory Service (FIAS), where he worked on access to finance for SMEs and business environment issues in different regions, including Africa, East Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean and Southeast Europe. He has worked worldwide on business environment and private sector policy issues related to access to financial services, foreign direct investment, business legal and regulatory issues, investment promotion, corporate social responsibility and business associations. Alejandro has also worked in the past as an adjunct Professor of Law at American University in Washington D.C. He obtained his Juris Doctor, from the University of Seville (Spain). A Spanish national, prior to joining IFC, he worked in the private sector in Spain (financial consulting services).

MUFIT ARBERK, Deputy General Director, Financial Markets Relations, Treasury of Turkish Republic Born in Nazilli in 1969, Mr. ArBerk completed primary and high school as well as university education in Eskişehir. He completed Anadolu University Faculty of Science, Mathematics Department in 1992. He went to the United Kingdom for post-graduate studies in 1993, earning his MS degree on applied mathematics with his thesis entitled “Controlling Chaos Using Neural Networks” at Abertay Dundee University in 1997. He received his doctorate degree on finance and economics with his thesis entitled “Asymmetric Volatility, Spillovers and Conditional Skewness in Stock Returns: An Analysis of Fifteen Countries” from Manchester University in 2003. He lectured at Bradford University while carrying out post-graduate studies between 2002 and 2005, publishing various articles in national and international journals and managing master theses during his academic studies from 1993 to 2002. Between 2005 and 2010, he worked as Deputy General Director of Economic Research at the Under-secretariat of Treasury, Republic of Turkey. He represented Turkey at the World Bank in USA between 2010 and 2013. He returned to Turkey in 2013, and worked as Board Member of Tuvasaş, Vagon Sanayi A.Ş. in 2013-2014. Dr. ArBerk has been working as Board Member of Tülomsaş, Lokomotif Sanayi A.Ş. since 2014, and is also Deputy General Director responsible for financial sector affairs at Under-secretariat of Treasury, Republic of Turkey. Dr. ArBerk speaks English well, and is married with three children.

OĞUZ ASLANER, Deputy Executive Director of Banking and Financial Institutions Department, Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Oğuz Aslaner received his undergraduate degree from Boğaziçi University in the field of Economics. He was an equity analyst in several brokerage firms for 5 years and worked in strategy and investor relations department of one of the leading private commercial banks in Turkey for more than 7 years. He joined Central Bank of Turkey in 2013 where he is currently serving as a Deputy Executive Director in Banking and Financial Institutions Department, responsible for Financial Stability and Financial Data Monitoring divisions. He is also serving as Central Bank representative in the Governing Board of Bank Association of Turkey - Risk Center, which functions as the official credit

registry in Turkey. (now Euroclear France), in particular as Adviser to senior management. He graduated from CERAM with a master’s degree in Finance, having specialised in audit and post-market infrastructure.

NUTTAWUT ATIRATANA, Senior Expert, Payment Systems, Payment Systems Policy Department, Bank of Thailand Nuttawut Atiratana has been at the Bank of Thailand since 1996, with more than fifteen years of experience in national payment systems modernization. His current duties include formulating of payment system development policy and developing of Thai payment systems infrastructure to promote greater use of electronic payment transactions. He is also responsible for the chip card migration project for ATM cards and debit cards, as well as promoting interoperability and interconnection of digital financial services provided by both banks and Non-banks. For international cooperation arena, he has joined Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI)’s Digital Financial Services Working Group (DFSWG) with a mission to expand the delivery of basic financial services to the poor through new technologies like mobile phones, electronic money and new channels such as retail agents. He obtained a MBA Degree from University of Toledo, Ohio, USA, in 1993 and Bachelor Degree in Political Science, international Relations from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand in 1991.

LAJOS BARTHA, Director, Financial Infrastructures Directorate, Magyar Nemzeti Bank Lajos has been the Director of the Financial Infrastructures Directorate of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank since November 2007. The directorate is responsible for regulation and supervision of payment services, oversight of clearing and settlement systems, and plays an active role in the development of the Hungarian payment and securities clearing and settlement infrastructures. He has been member of the ESCB Payments and Securities Settlement Committee and chairman of the Hungarian CSD’s (KELER Ltd) supervisory board. He has been working for Magyar Nemzeti Bank since 1998 and has held different positions in the payments and securities settlements area. Before joining Magyar Nemzeti Bank, he worked for Arthur Andersen, the Hungarian State Holding Company, a commercial bank and in DG Payments Systems in the European Central Bank.

ENRICO BASSINI, Business Development Manager, SIA

BASSAMBIE FRANCKBATIONO, Adviser to the Director General, Central Bank of West African States. Mr. Bationo coordinates the activities of three Departments: the Department of the Economics Conditions and the Monetary Analysis, the Department of Research as well as the Department of Statistics. In the BCEAO, he assumed several responsibilities, in particular the following functions: Deputy Director of Research and Statistics; Deputy Director of Inspection and Audits; Director of Research and Statistics and Director of the publications; and Director of Statistics (2014). In this respect, Mr Bationo led the implementation of Credit Bureaus project in West African Monetary Union (WAMU) which covers eight countries, ie, Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinée-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo. Mr Bationo has a work experience of more than 23 years among which 19 years at the Central Bank.

ÇAĞATAY BAYDAR, General Manager, TEB Factoring, Turkey Çağatay Baydar has 28 years of professional experience in financial institutions, such as banking, factoring, leasing, real estate development and auditing. He has been working for the factoring industry for over 25 years, being one of the pioneers who introduced factoring to Turkey. Presently, he is leading TEB Factoring, the largest export factor of Turkey, 2nd biggest of the world and a joint venture of a worldwide financial group, BNP Paribas. TEB Faktoring has been chosen five times “The Best Export Factor” of the year by the members of Factors Chain International (FCI). Çağatay Baydar is the former chairman and actually the vice chairman of Executive Committee of Factors Chain International (FCI), the biggest factoring chain of the world.

MARC BAYLE, Director General, Market Infrastructure and Payments, European Central Bank Marc leads the Directorate General Market Infrastructure and Payments at the European Central Bank. Previously he managed the T2S Programme as T2S Programme Manager and has earlier managed dossiers related to the promotion of market integration and the definition of the Eurosystem’s operational framework, focusing in particular on payment systems and market infrastructure aspects. He has authored publications on the market infrastructure integration process and on related issues, such as the euro repo market. He is an active member of European and international working groups in this field, including in the role of Chairman, and maintains close links with the industry. Before joining the ECB he worked for ten years at SICOVAM S.A. (now Euroclear France), in particular as Adviser to senior management. He graduated from CERAM with a master’s degree in Finance, having specialised in audit and post-market infrastructure.

VISSCHER M BBUKU, Director, Non-Bank Financial Institutions Supervision Department, Bank of Zambia Visscher M Bbuku is a seasoned regulator with extensive experience in financial system supervision spanning over 20 years. He is currently the Director of Non-Bank Financial Institutions Supervision Department at the Bank of Zambia (BoZ). As an expert in financial evaluations and operational reviews of financial service providers, as well as regulatory formulation Mr Bbuku was instrumental in the formulation and subsequently coordinated the development and implementation of the Financial Sector Development Plan (FSDP) for Zambia. The FSDP is both a vision statement and master plan by the Government of Zambia for the development of the entire financial system. The task involved other key stakeholders including Government ministries, financial institutions and other financial sector regulatory authorities comprising of the Pensions and Insurance Authority, the Bank of Zambia (BoZ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr Bbuku has represented the BoZ on outside committees on emerging issues and developments such as Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) Technical Committee under the Private Sector Development Reform Programme at the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry culminating in the development of the draft Strategy for Building a RIA Strategy for Zambia, Rural Finance Sub-Committee Programme Reference Group at the Ministry of Finance (MoF) culminating in the formulation of the Rural Finance Policy and Strategy for Zambia which was approved by Cabinet in July 2012. Mr. Bbuku has applied his legal knowledge to draft proposed amendments to the Banking and Financial Services Act, review the Bureau de Change Regulations and draft amendments, draft the Credit Reporting Bill and review the draft Movable Property (Security Interests) Bill. Prior to joining the BoZ, Mr Bbuku worked for Barclays Bank Plc and Bank of Credit and Commerce (Zambia) Limited. Mr Bbuku holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Zambia, Master’s Degree (MBA) in Finance from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Zambia.

DAVID BERGMAN, Official Receiver, Australian Financial Security Authority, Australia David Bergman is the National Manager of Insolvency and Trustee Services for the Australian Financial Security Authority and was appointed as an Official Receiver on October 31 2014. David oversees the insolvency practice, incorporating the bankruptcy and the proceeds of crime trustee, bankruptcy and debt agreement registries and exercise of Official Receiver powers. In David’s previous role as the first Personal Property Securities Registrar, he was responsible for implementing the new national system and held the position of General Counsel. David has been an advisor for the government on bankruptcy policy and oversaw a very active period of bankruptcy law reform. He has also held a range of legal and policy positions in the Australian Taxation Office and the Child Support Agency. David was born in Queensland and completed his law degree at the Queensland University of Technology. He later completed a Masters in Law at the Australian National University.

JAOUAD BERRADA, President, CIF Consultants Inc., Canada Mr. Jaouad Berrada is a specialist in banking, training, corporate financial management and risk management. Jaouad has more than 25 years of professional experience in banking and finance, including 10 years with two of the largest banks in Canada, i.e. the Bank of Montreal and the Royal Bank of Canada. In 2001, Jaouad was the Head of Credit Risk Management for the African Development Bank. He joined CIF in 2002 as VP Development. In 2005, he became EVP and in 2009 the President of the firm. Jaouad has worked in more than 15 countries in Africa, North America, Asia and the Caribbean region. He has delivered more than 30 contracts and helped to restructure more than 20 banks worldwide. Jaouad holds a Master in International Economics from the University of Montreal and an MBA in Finance from HEC Montreal.

BIAGIO BOSSONE, Senior Payment Systems Advisor, World Bank Group Biagio Bossone is founder and chairman of "The Group of Lecce" on global governance and financial reform, and member of the Surveillance committee Centre d'Études pour le Financement du Développement Local. He currently advises the World Bank Group, the IMF and a number of governments and central banks on financial sector modernization programs. He is also a consultant to private-sector organizations. Until recently, he has been Accountant General, Director General of Budget and Treasury, and interim Director General of Credit and Finance, at the Region of Sicily. He has served as Coordinator of the Evaluation Unit of Public Investments at Italy's Presidency of the Council of Ministers. He has been President of the Central Bank of the Republic of San Marino, Executive Director of the World Bank Group, and member of the IMF Executive Board. He has advised the Independent Evaluation Office of the IMF and the African Development Bank, and has been a member of the group of experts assisting the High Commission on World Bank Reform chaired by former President of Mexico, The Hon. Ernesto Zedillo. He has been Financial Policy Adviser to the Vice Presidency Finance of the World Bank Group, and Adviser to the Executive Director of the Asian Development Bank. As an economist and former official of the Banca d’Italia, he headed the international payment system division and has been involved in international financial analysis and relations issues. He has been a member of various EU and G10 central banking groups and task forces. He has been Professor of international financial markets at Universita' degli Studi di Palermo and Universita' del Salento, Italy. He has (co-)authored various academic and policy studies in the areas of money and banking, international and development finance, and international financial relations.

HANS BRITS, Head of the Retail Payments Policy Department, De Nederlandsche Bank Hans Brits (the Netherlands Bank, DNB) is currently head of the Retail Payments Policy Department, which includes DNB's Cyber Intelligence Unit. He is a member of several committees in the area of payment systems, both at the national and the international level. Previously, he held several management positions at the Payment Systems Division and the Monetary and Economic Policy Division of DNB. He started his career as an economist at the Domestic Research Department, and served two years as an assistant to the Executive Director of the Netherlands Bank at the International Monetary Fund.

WILLIAM BRYDIE-WATSON, Legal Officer, International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) William Brydie-Watson is a Legal Officer at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) based in Rome. William specializes in the operation of the 2001 Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Assets and has primary responsibility for the drafting of a fourth Protocol to the Cape Town Convention on matters specific to agricultural, construction and mining equipment. Previously, William was a Legal Officer in the Private International Law section of the Australian Attorney-General’s Department and worked primarily on treaty negotiation and the implementation of private international law treaties in Australia. William has a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws from the Australian National University.

YOUDY BUN, Partner, Bun & Associates, Cambodia Youdy is the firm’s Practice Leader of the Corporate, Banking & Finance and Commercial Litigation practices. He is currently a panel lawyer for numerous foreign banks operating in Cambodia. His expertise includes project finance, off-shore financing, derivatives and other related complex financial products. He provides advice to some of the largest financial institutions and securities firms in Asia relating to their business expansion and entry strategies into Cambodia. Youdy recently counseled a large Japanese electronics manufacturer with their USD65 million investment project establishing the first electronic large-scale mass-production facility in the country. He also previously counseled one of Cambodia’s largest conglomerates on the acquisition of a USD60 million turn-key brewery plant and assisted a foreign fund in a transaction for the partial debt assignment of the largest loan ever granted in the telecommunications sector. Youdy is one of the first commercial arbitrators admitted to the National Arbitration Center of Cambodia and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. Currently, Youdy is serving as an executive board member of the National Arbitration Center of Cambodia and he is a former Secretary-General of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Youdy has been consistently ranked a leading lawyer (first tier) in Cambodia by Chambers & Partners’ Asia Pacific. He has been praised for being a “detailed and meticulous” lawyer who specializes in foreign investment, banking, corporate and commercial litigation and for his “in-depth knowledge and understanding of Cambodian law,” and his “hands-on approach and ability to turn things around quickly.” He is fluent in Khmer, English and French.

ANTHONY BWEMBYA, Registrar & Chief Executive Officer, Patents & Companies Registration Agency, Zambia Mr Bwembya is an Advocate of the High Court of Zambia. He holds an LL.B degree from the University of Zambia and a Business Administration (BBA) degree from the Copperbelt University. He also holds a post graduate diploma in Legislative Drafting. Mr Bwembya’s interest is company and intellectual property law. Mr Bwembya joined the Patents and Companies Registration Agency in 2007 and held the position of Assistant Registrar Commercial Unit. He was appointed Registrar and Chief executive Officer in 2011 and currently still holds this position. The mandate of the Agency is to operate a registry for business entities and industrial property rights.

CLAUDIO CERESANI, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, PERAGO Claudio Ceresani is the CEO of Perago, a South African fully owned subsidiary of SIA Group. 20+ years of extensive management and business experience in international markets and payment systems. A committed executive, with strong multi-disciplinary skills. Claudio started his career in 1993 in SIA, one the largest European card and payment processor, where he became an expert in information security, innovative services and technologies related to payment systems, financial markets and public sector. In 2001 he moved in marketing and sales becoming the International Business Development Manager with the aim of promoting SIA international strategy. He then became Marketing and Sales Director of Perago from 2006 to 2011 driving the expansion of the business from Southern Africa to the global market. He moved back in SIA as Head of Business Development for MENA Region for one year before being promoted Perago CEO in 2012. Claudio has a MBA and a University degree in Electronic Engineering.

SANKAR CHAKRABORTI, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer, SMERA Ratings Limited Sankar Chakraborti joined SMERA in 2014. He has two decades of experience in business information, data solutions, financial research and credit rating. He was instrumental in taking the concept of credit rating beyond top 800 companies in India. Under his leadership, within a short span of 4 years, over 10,000 corporates were brought under the fold of credit rating. Sankar has extensive experience in the business information, data solutions and financial research domain. He was deputed to Standard and Poor’s in Tokyo when he interacted with investors to India across APAC region. Sankar is a member of the Standing Committee on MSME of Indian Banks’ Association. MASSIMO CIRASINO, Practice Manager, Financial Infrastructure & Access, Finance & Markets Global Practice, World Bank Group Massimo, an Italian national and an economist, joined the World Bank Group in July 1998. In his current position he serves as Manager of the Financial Infrastructure & Access team of the Finance and Markets Global Practice (GFMDR). Mr. Cirasino has participated in many of the group’s significant country and regional interventions and has been involved in payment system reform in over 60 countries. Mr. Cirasino represents the World Bank on several task forces coordinated by the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructure (CPMI) of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). Mr. Cirasino is the Co-Chairman of the BIS-World Bank Task Force which issued the General Principles for International Remittance Services, the only international standards in this field. He also co-chairs with the BIS the Payment Aspects for Financial Inclusion Task Force. Mr. Cirasino has also chaired and coordinated the efforts of a number of World Bank-led task forces that produced guidance on several aspects of financial infrastructure reform and development. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Mr. Cirasino worked at Banca d’Italia in the Payment System Department from 1993 to 1996, and, later on, in the Representative Office in New York. Mr. Cirasino has degrees in Economics and Business and Political Sciences respectively from the Luiss University (Rome) and the La Sapienza University (Rome). Mr. Cirasino’s Master’s Degree in Banking was obtained from the La Sapienza University and his Master’s in Philosophy degree in Economics is from the New York University (NYU).

CARLOS CONESA, Head of the Settlement Systems Oversight Unit, Banco de España Carlos Conesa is a member of the Secretariat of the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI) in the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), where he has acted as secretary of the Working Group of non-banks in retail payments. Before joining the BIS, he was the Manager of the Settlement Systems Oversight Unit in the central bank of Spain, where he developed his career since joining the central bank in 1998. He has also represented the Bank of Spain in several Committees and Working Groups of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). Mr. Conesa is MA in Economic Studies by the Complutense University (Madrid, Spain) and BA in Economic Studies by Leeds University (UK).

CARLO CORAZZA, Senior Payment Systems and Remittances Expert, Finance & Markets Global Practice, World Bank Group Carlo has worked in the Financial Infrastructure and Inclusion Practice of the World Bank since January 2007. In his position he has undertaken several missions of assessment of the market for payments and remittances in both sending and receiving countries. Carlo is actively involved in the coordination of the activities of the WB Global Remittances Working Group and represents his unit during seminars and conferences worldwide. Carlo’s responsibilities include the coordination and implementation of specific technical assistance projects in the area of remittances and payment systems. Prior to joining the World Bank, Mr. Corazza has worked as Local Economic Development Expert for the United Nations Development Program in Guatemala and Serbia where he facilitated and coordinated programs of decentralized cooperation aimed at fostering the potentialities of the local economy through partnership among Public and Private entities in industrialized and developing countries. Before that he was attaché at the Italian Mission to the United Nations in New York, where he conducted research for the Economic Department and participated in the negotiations of the Italian delegation in many resolutions.

ANDRAS CSER, Vice President, Principal Analyst, Forrester Andras serves Security & Risk Professionals. He is a leading expert on identity management, access management, user account provisioning, entitlement management, federation, privileged identity management, and role design and management. Andras covers cloud security and enterprise fraud management, which have many synergies with identity and access management when an organization needs to protect against risk and wants to manage fraud appropriately. Andras holds an M.B.A. degree from Technical University of Budapest and Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, and a M.Sc. in computer science and electrical engineering from Technical University of Budapest.

FREDERIQUE DAHAN, Chief Counsel, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Frederique Dahan serves as Chief Counsel and Head of the Financial Law Unit (FLU) in the Legal Transition Team (LTT) at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which provides legal reform assistance to the countries of central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, and in the southern and eastern Mediterranean countries. She is presently on secondment to the Financial Institutions Banking Tem as a Senior Policy Advisor. Frederique oversees all of the FLU legal reform projects concerning secured transactions and access to credit, insolvency and creditors’ rights, corporate governance and securities markets. She has personally led many secured transactions projects, including on-going country-specific projects in Morocco and Russia. Frederique is a recognised expert in the subject matter, having personally worked on some of the key EBRD standards setting projects on secured transactions, collateral registers and mortgage lending. She was one of the authors of the EBRD study Mortgages in transition economies, published in 2008. She was also the Editor (with John Simpson) of the work on Secured Transactions Reform and Access to Credit, 2008, Elgar. A Research Handbook on Secured Financing in Commercial Transactions, which she has edited, has just been published by Elgar. Prior to joining the EBRD in 2000, Frederique worked as a Lecturer at the University of Essex, in the United Kingdom, teaching Comparative law, European Company Law, Cross-Border Insolvency and Business and Corporate Law Issues in Central and Eastern Europe. She was also a Research Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies in London, UK. Frederique is a qualified French solicitor. She received her Doctorate in Law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.

FERNANDO DANCAUSA, Financial Sector Specialist, Finance & Markets Global Practice, World Bank Group Fernando works on the Insolvency and Creditor’s Rights unit at the World Bank Group, which delivers technical assistance to governments on insolvency and alternative dispute resolution reforms. Fernando joined the World Bank Group in 2011, and is part of the global Credit infrastructure team at the Finance & Markets Global Practice, sitting in Istanbul. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, he spent 6 years working as a lawyer in private practice at the law firm Cuatrecasas, Goncalves Pereira in Madrid and London, primarily working on Corporate and Insolvency matters. During his time in private practice, he participated in a wide range of corporate transactions and restructurings, including out of court workouts, sale of businesses as a going concern and judicial reorganizations. He is a graduate of Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Madrid), where he received a law degree and a business degree. He also holds a LL.M. degree in International Business and Economic Law from Georgetown University Law Center (Washington DC).

PEDRO DE VASCONCELOS, Program Manager, Financing Facility for Remittances, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Mr. De Vasconcelos joined the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in 2007 as programme manager of the multi-donor Financing Facility for Remittances (FFR). The Facility, composed by the EC, the IADB, the Government of Luxembourg, the Government of Spain, CGAP, UNCDF and the WB is aimed at promoting inclusive remittance mechanism in rural areas and to address innovative models of interventions linking remittances, migration and development. The main activities of the fund includes project financing, and development (over 50 projects in over 40 countries) and dedicated knowledge generation and management. Prior to IFAD, from 2000 until early 2007, Mr. De Vasconcelos served at the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC, and was responsible for launching and coordinating the IADB’s remittance programme for Latin America and the Caribbean. From 1998 to 2000, Mr De Vasconcelos served at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva under the project MicroBanks in cooperation with the Banque International du Luxembourg. Mr. De Vasconcelos range of expertise includes inclusive finance, payment systems

VALERIE DIAS, Chief Officer, Risk and Compliance, Visa Europe Valerie, a member of the Visa Europe Executive Leadership Team is Chief Officer - Risk and Compliance, based in London, UK. Her wide remit encompasses all areas of corporate and enterprise risk, information security, audit and member bank and third party compliance. Valerie, having joined Visa in 1993, was previously Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer from 1999 to 2005, covering all aspects of finance, tax, treasury, pricing and interchange. Prior to that role, she led a key Visa e-commerce initiative based in Paris, France (1996-1997), and she had also worked in various roles in Finance including that of financial controller. She has represented management on the Visa Europe Board’s Audit, Risk and Finance Committee since its inception. She chairs and/or sits on various Visa Europe decision-making committees e.g. Risk Committee, Compliance Committee. Before joining Visa, Valerie worked for two publishers, Marshall Cavendish from 1989 to 1993 and prior to that with William Collins plc (now HarperCollins). Valerie is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants, is married, and has one son. She is presently a non-executive director on the board of the Ipswich Building Society, UK. She is actively involved with various charities; and has just stepped down from being a trustee on the board of World Vision UK.

IRENE ESPINOSA CANTELLANO, National Treasurer, Ministry of Finance and Public Credit of Mexico Irene Espinosa Cantellano is the National Treasurer at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit of Mexico since April 2009. She joined the Treasury in 2007, first as Chief of Staff of the Treasurer and later as Deputy Treasurer of Operations. At this position, Ms. Espinosa has been the team leader of the modernization project of the Federal Treasury which includes the design and implementation of the Treasury Single Account, the automatization and certification of the substantive processes of the Treasury under the ISO 9001:2008 international standards, among other relevant projects. She is also responsible for concentrating, collecting, safeguarding, and monitoring the federal revenues, as well as executing the approved payments that affect budget expenditures of the Mexican Federal Government. Before the Ministry of Finance, Irene Espinosa also acted as Senior Counselor of the Office of the Executive Director of Mexico and the Dominican Republic, at the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB), in Washington, D.C. for six years. Mrs. Espinosa holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, where she also dictated courses of microeconomics and Social and Economic Project Evaluation.

AHMED FARAGALLAH, Head of Payment Systems Department, Central Bank of Egypt Ahmed A. Faragallah is the Head of Payment Systems Department at the Central Bank of Egypt. He holds a MBA degree from Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and BSc in Engineering- Computers and Systems Department from Ain Shams University in Egypt. He has over 20 years of experiences in payment systems and information technology field and has been the Head of Payment Systems Department in the Central Bank of Egypt for the last 10 years. He leads the work towards the issue of Mobile Payments Regulations and the establishment of the Mobile Payments Hub in Egypt and financial inclusion. He had contributed to a number of large government payments and collections projects, such as payroll, pension payments, taxes, and customs. He also made contributions to establish the National Switch for ATM and the Automated Clearing House (ACH) in Egypt for credit and direct debit transactions.

CARLOS FERNÁNDEZ IÑIGO, Deputy General Manager, INFORMA Carlos Fernández holds a Superior Degree in Physics from the University of Cantabria. He also earned an MBA from the Business Institute in Madrid in 1991. He has worked in a diverse range of companies, including Saint Gobain, Indra, Reuters and Fedea. Since 1992, Mr. Fernández has worked at Informa D&B, S.A., a leader in Spain’s financial information sector. Joining the company as IT Manager, he is currently Deputy General Manager for the Technical Area. Mr. Fernández holds memberships in a number of professional associations, including GREFIS (Group of Experts in Financial Information Services) and XBRL CRAS (Credit Risk Services), where he is a member of XBRL’s management board in Spain and a vice-president of the Technical Working Group, responsible of the FLIPA taxonomy creation project.

FABRIZIO FRABONI, Principal Operations Officer, World Bank Group Fabrizio is the World Bank Group’s Credit Bureau and Risk Management Advisor for Europe and Central Asia since 2011. He began his career in the financial sector in Chicago (IL) at TRANS UNION Corporation, a leading US Credit Bureau. As manager of the International Division he helped establishing the first Credit Bureau in Mexico. ANDREA FRIEDRICH, Deputy Head, Oversight on Payment and Security Settlement Systems Section, Deutsche Bundesbank, Frankfurt am Main Since 2004 Andrea Friedrich works at the Division “Strategy, Policy and Oversight; Payments and Securities Settlement” at the Deutsche Bundesbank. She started in Payment Systems Policy and changed to the Oversight Section in 2011. Andrea holds a Master degree in economics from the University of Göttingen. She has been a member of the Bundesbank’s staff since 1997 and previously held positions in other areas of the Bank. At the Eurosystem level, Andrea is a member of the SecuRe Pay Forum, a voluntary cooperation of supervisors and overseers from all over Europe and of several related Working Groups. She also represents the Bundesbank in the Task Force on Payment Services located at the European Banking Authority in London.

JOSÉ ANTONIO GARCIA, Senior Payment Systems Advisor, World Bank Group Mr. Garcia is currently an Advisor for the Payment Systems Development Group of the World Bank, and is the Head of the Program on Financial Literacy at Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City. From June 2009 to March 2012 he served as Deputy CEO at INFONACOT, a state-owned financial institution based in Mexico City that provides consumer loans to lower income workers. In this position, he was responsible for the Credit and IT departments. Prior to that, Mr. Garcia was a Senior Payment Systems Specialist at the World Bank from March 2004 to May 2009, where he provided technical and conceptual advice to over 40 World Bank clients for the reforming of their payment, remittances and securities settlement systems, and led several reform projects in these areas. He also led the work of the Secretariat of the G25 Group of Experts, coordinated by the World Bank, that produced the Guidelines for the Successful Regional Integration of Financial Infrastructures, and was involved in the World Bank-led task forces that prepared the General Principles for Credit Reporting, the General Guidelines for the Development of Government Payment Programs and, jointly with the CPSS, the General Principles for International Remittance Services. Prior to joining the World Bank Mr. Garcia was a Senior Economist at the Centre for Latin American Monetary Studies (CEMLA) and a Credit Analysis Specialist at Banco Inbursa, both in Mexico City.

PAOLA GIUCCA, Principal Director, Market and Payment System Oversight Department, Banca d’Italia In recent years Paola has been increasingly involved in the policy issues concerning the implementation of the SEPA, the innovation in retail payments, remittances and financial inclusion at national and European (ECB and EC) Committees. She participated in many BIS-CPMI Working Groups, including the ongoing Payment Aspects of Financial Inclusion (PAFI) WB-CPMI Task Force. She joined the Research Dept. of Banca d’Italia in 1984, working on international monetary policies area. In 1993, she started her experience in the payment systems issues. She graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Roma in 1983 and followed post-graduate master degree at Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva in 1985-86. She carried out studies and publications in the field of monetary policies and payment systems areas.

TERRY GOH, Director, Payments and Infrastructure Division, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Mr. Terry Goh is the Head and Director for the Payments and Infrastructure Division in the Specialist Risk Supervision Department of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”). He heads the division which oversees the stability and efficiency of payment systems and infrastructure in Singapore. Terry’s other responsibilities include the supervision of financial institutions in Business Continuity Management and oversight of credit bureau. Terry joined the MAS in 2000 to spearhead a team to formulate payment systems oversight policy, develop regulatory framework for them, and facilitate payment systems development. Prior to his appointment at the MAS, he had more than 12 years of Information Technology (IT) experience with major international banks where he held key IT positions with responsibilities for project management, systems development, technical

JOHN HADLOW, Senior Director, FICO John Hadlow is a highly experienced manager of FICO’s International Scoring and Credit Bureaus businesses in 26 markets including those in EMEA and APAC for the last 9 years. After service as an officer in the Royal Navy, John worked at an ABN Amro subsidiary with large government outsourcing contracts in the UK for 6 years before joining a major credit bureau setting up and acquiring new businesses, internationally. During that time he also worked on credit sector regulations in several major markets including Russia, Ukraine and India and set up a joint venture credit bureau and subsidiary businesses servicing the banking sector.

GERARD HARTSINK, Senior Adviser to the Board of CLS Bank International and Chair, Global Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) Foundation Gerard has a broad experience in the payments, securities and forex industry. Gerard served as the Chairman of CLS Bank International and is still an advisor of that Board (New York), of the European Payments Council (Brussels) and of the RMG of ISO 20022 and as Director of the following Boards: SWIFT (La Hulpe), LCH Clearnet Group (London), Euroclear Netherlands (Amsterdam), EBA (Paris). As member of the G25 Group of the World Bank Gerard was involved in the “Guidelines for the successful regional integration of financial infrastructures” that was published in January 2014. Gerard retired as Senior Executive Vice President of the ABN AMRO Bank where he had thirty years of experience in sales, product development, regulatory affairs, information management and operations

FRÉDÉRIC HERVO, Director, Payment Systems and Market Infrastructures, Banque de France Frédéric HERVO, who has been working for Bank of France for 23 years, is currently Director of the Payment Systems and Market Infrastructures directorate, covering oversight, policy and operational issues with respect to financial market infrastructures and payment instruments. Frédéric HERVO is a member of the Payment and Settlement Systems Committee of the Eurosystem, of the Committee on Payments and Markets Infrastructures (previously the Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems) at BIS and of the CPMI/IOSCO Steering Group. He is the first deputy chair of the French Committee for Banking Organisation and Standardisation (CFONB), which is the French banking standard setting body. He recently chaired a working group on security of payment instruments, which was in charge of preparing a consultation launched by the French Economic and Finance ministers to define a national strategy for efficient and secure payment instruments.

LOUISA HETISANI, Credit Information & Research Manager, South African National Credit Regulator (NCR) Louisa is responsible for monitoring compliance of registered credit bureaus to the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 and its Regulations. Her responsibilities include producing credible statistics on the credit health of South African consumers and fulfilling the research mandate of the NCR. Prior to joining the NCR in 2007, Louisa Hetisani worked in different roles a number of institutions, including the National Department of Human Settlements and the University of South Africa (UNISA). Notable is her six (6) years teaching experience as a Lecturer in Risk Management at UNISA. She received a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) degree from the UNISA Graduate School in 2004. She also holds the Bcom and Hons Bcom degrees. She is currently completing her Master of Commerce Degree in Development Theory and Policy at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg, South Africa.

A.P. HOTA, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) Mr. A.P. Hota is Managing Director & CEO of National Payments Corporation of India since February 2009. A significant part of his career has been in the area of design and implementation of Payment systems in India. He has played a key role in implementation of MICR technology in Cheque Clearing, Electronic Funds Transfer, Automated Clearing House, Cheque Truncation System and RTGS system in India. In August 2010 he joined as the Managing Director & CEO of National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) which has been set up by banks in India to provide central infrastructure for various retail payment systems in the country, including card payments. Under his leadership, NPCI has launched India’s own card scheme ‘RuPay’ in record three years’ time which is now accepted on all three channels, viz. ATM, PoS and eCommerce with an issuance figure of 170 Million + RuPay cards. He is Honorary Fellow of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He is a member in various Committees of the Government of India and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and has contributed to policy and decision-making processes in Payment Systems and Financial Inclusion in particular. JENNIFER ISERN, Practice Manager, Asia and Pacific, Finance Markets Practice, World Bank Group Dr. Jennifer Isern, Practice Manager, Finance and Markets, Asia Region, World Bank Group, brings 27 years of experience in development in more than 65 countries. Since July 2014, Dr. Isern is Practice Manager for the Finance and Markets Practice of the World Bank Group working across South Asia, East Asia and the Pacific. She manages the Asia team to develop the financial sector with focus on financial sector stability measures, financial infrastructure, expanding access to finance for households and SMEs, and development finance. From 2009-2014, she served as Regional Manager for Access to Finance Advisory for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in South Asia. Previously, Dr. Isern worked as Lead Microfinance Specialist at CGAP from 1996 to 2009, where she served as member of the senior management team, manager for CGAP's work in Africa and China, and manager of CGAP's network of regional representatives globally. She led several CGAP global initiatives on payments, anti-money laundering, appraising, funding and capacity building for microfinance institutions, and African financial sector development. Prior to joining CGAP, Dr. Isern was the Regional Technical Adviser for economic development in West and Central Africa with CARE International, and she founded and managed MFIs while living in Niger (1990-91), and Togo (1992-1996). From 1988-1992, Dr. Isern consulted with public and private sector clients including USAID in Costa Rica and Senegal, UNDP in New York, and AT&T’s international division. She has authored more than 50 publications on financial sector development and broader development issues. A CFA charterholder, Dr. Isern received her bachelor's degree from the University of Montana, her master’s degree in development economics from Princeton University, and her doctorate in both finance and international business from Nova Southeastern University.

IVO JENIK, Consumer Protection Specialist, Finance & Markets Global Practice, World Bank Group Ivo Jenik is a World Bank Financial Consumer Protection and Supervision Consultant, advising on and conducting training in the following areas: the design of legal & regulatory frameworks, implementation of strategies for financial consumer protection and financial literacy, risk-based market conduct supervision, development of complaints handling mechanisms and alternative dispute resolution schemes, and implementation of alternative regulatory instruments such as guidelines, supervisory benchmarks, and codes of conduct. Ivo has played a key advisory role in Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Malawi, Rwanda and Zambia, among other countries. CHARULATHA KAR, General Manager, Payment and Settlement Systems Department, Reserve Bank of India Charulatha is a senior officer working in the Department of Payment and Settlement Systems, Reserve Bank of India. She is responsible for the policy framework for retail payment systems in the country and operations of the paper-based and electronic retail payment systems managed by the Reserve Bank of India. She has represented the Reserve Bank of India as a member in the CPMI Working Groups on Innovations in Retail Payments, and Non-banks in Retail Payments. She is also member in the current CPMI Working Group on Retail Payments. Previously, Charulatha has been associated with the setting up of the Securities Settlement System for government securities market in India. Prior to her current post, she has worked in the area of training especially in the area of payment systems.

SUSAN KELLY, Partner, Head, Restructuring & Insolvency, Squire Patton Boggs, LLP, UK Susan leads Squire Patton Boggs’ Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group in the UK and Europe. Susan’s particular expertise covers a broad range of insolvency (both contentious and non-contentious), lender security reviews and enhancement, restructuring, turnaround and business support. In this capacity, Juliette leads a global team focused on building new resiliency and real-time payment technologies and solutions for the financial services industry. Juliette brings over 20 years’ experience to her role at SWIFT. Prior to joining SWIFT, she held a variety of senior level positions spanning operations, sales and marketing communications working for Clearstream Banking in Luxembourg, Société Générale in Paris and Morgan Stanley International in London. Juliette joined SWIFT in 2003 as a securities market analyst for Standards. She then rose through the ranks to the role of Head of Standards, a position she held until January 2013, when she was appointed to the newly created position of Head of Market Infrastructures at SWIFT. In 2014, Financial News named Juliette to its list of the "Top 100 Women in Finance" and more recently, she was recognized by Payments Source magazine as one of the "Most Influential Women in Payments". Juliette is based at SWIFT’s headquarters in Belgium and has a double French and British nationality.

HARUN R. KHAN, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India

Deputy Governor Khan is a Post Graduate in Political Science with an M. Phil degree in International Studies from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and PG Diploma in Business Management. Deputy Governor Khan is a Certified Associate of the Indian institute of Bankers (CAIIB). Current responsibilities of Deputy Governor Khan include the departments dealing with forex reserve management, foreign exchange, internal debt management, development & regulation of financial markets including the government securities market, payment and settlement system, information & technology and government & bank accounts. Deputy Governor Khan is Reserve Bank’s representative on the Committee on the Global Financial System (CGFS) of the Bank for International Settlement (BIS). He is also a representative of the Reserve Bank of India on the boards of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). Mr. Khan was the Chairman of the Internal Group on Rural Credit and Microfinance which made the path-breaking recommendation for expanding banking outreach through the Business Facilitators & Business Correspondents leveraging ICT in a big way for scaling up bank-led financial inclusion in India.

MUHAMMED IBRAHIM KIRDABAN, Deputy Executive Director, Payments Systems Department, Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) Mr. Kirdaban is working as the Deputy Executive Director of the Payment Systems Department at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT). In his position, he is in charge of both the oversight and regulation functions of the CBRT regarding payment and securities settlement systems. Additionally, he is leading the team responsible for the granting of operating licenses to the payment system and securities settlement system operators in Turkey. He also joins to the cooperative works of the CBRT with other relevant authorities on financial markets infrastructures. He is also representing the CBRT at the meetings of Committee on Payments and Infrastructures and also at the meetings of SWIFT Oversight Forum.

SHUJI KOBAYAKAWA, Associate Director General, Payment and Settlement Systems Department, Bank of Japan Shuji joined the Bank of Japan in 1990 and is currently Associate Director-General of the Bank's Payment and Settlement Systems Department. In that capacity, he represents the Bank in a number of international meetings related to the CPMI and CPMI-IOSCO. He also actively participates in the Sibos and other international conferences as a panelist presenting Asian perspectives on recent developments in the retail payment systems. Before assuming the current position, he was Associate Director-General of the Bank's Monetary Affairs Department which is responsible for planning and formulating monetary policy measures as secretariat of the policy board (2012-13). Prior to that, he was the head of statistics division of the Bank's Research and Statistics Department (2010-12). He holds a D.Phil and M.Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

ELENA KONEVA, Director International, FICO Elena Koneva is an experienced manager of FICO’s International Scoring and Credit Bureaus businesses in 16 markets including Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe for the last 4 years. After receiving a degree in law (candidate of law sciences, specific in intellectual property), Elena worked for 7 years with NBKI, a leading Russian credit bureau from the day 1 of its operations. During that time she also participated in credit sector regulations drafting and national discussions for the banking sector in Russia.

PETR KUČERA, Regional Managing Director, CRIF – Czech Credit Bureau

Petr Kučera is the Regional Managing Director of the Czech and Slovak Credit Bureaux at CRIF Group and one of the co-founders of the project. He is involved in all strategic areas of business development of this fast growing dynamic company. Previous to his position, Petr worked for TransUnion-CRIF on new business development in areas of Credit Bureau establishment and ongoing operations, and decision solutions projects across the Central and Eastern European region. His past professional experience focuses on business and consumer credit data collection across the CEE region and its utilization during the credit granting process for private individuals and corporations. Petr has participated in several projects of consumer and business data sharing in the banking, insurance and telecommunications industries in the CEE markets. Petr graduated from the Charles University in Prague.

ONUR KURSUN, Senior Vice President, MasterCard Onur Kursun is Group Head for Business Development and Product Sales for our High Growth European market (HGEM) region. In his role Onur is responsible for business development as well as leading Core Products and Emerging Payments products experts teams for HGEM. Onur was previously head of the MasterCard Advisors team for HGEM, managing sales and delivery activities in 30 countries. In just three years and under Onur’s leadership, Advisors significantly increased their foot print in the region and became a top notch payments consulting company. Before this, Onur was head of the HGEM Core Products Expert team, launching a number of innovative products supporting MasterCard’s growth across a number of competitive markets. These included the no fees credit card in Turkey, the salary card in Russia and World & World Rewards in Poland. Onur joined MasterCard in 2007 as the consumer product sales specialist responsible for Turkey, Israel and Romania. Prior to his career at MasterCard, Onur worked as a management consultant with a

JINCHANG LAI, Principal Operations Officer, Finance & Markets, East Asia & Pacific, World Bank Group Jinchang Lai is a Principal Operations Officer, Finance and Markets, World Bank Group. He is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, leading the Financial Infrastructure advisory work for the East Asia and Pacific Region. He was previously the Head of IFC Chengdu Office, and also served as the Deputy General Manager of IFC Advisory Services for China and Mongolia. Before 2002, he managed the Private Sector Investment Operations Division in the African Development Bank; and successively worked as Senior Country Economist, Principal Program Coordinator and Special Assistant to Vice President Operations in the Bank during 1992-2000. He was with the People’s Bank of China during 1987-92 as a Research Officer and Section Head. He has 28 years' experience in financial services, private sector investment, and policy reforms in both Asia and Africa. He is a frequent speaker in various forums on financial sector development and financial infrastructure issues.

K A JANAKA LAKMAL, Deputy General Manager, Credit Information Bureau of Sri Lanka (CRIB) K A Janaka Lakmal currently holds the post of Deputy General Manager, Credit Information Bureau of Sri Lanka (CRIB) and is overall in charge of management of the bureau operations. He joined the Bureau in 2006 as a Project Manager of the CRIB Modernization Project. He spearheaded the business process reengineering and technology transformation under the Corporate Development Initiative 2006 - 2010, and was leading the way for CRIB to become one of the emerging credit bureaux in the Asian region. In addition to his core profile he headed the Secured Transactions (ST) project (2009 – 2012) where the Bureau has been entrusted with establishment of the Online Register (StrS) for security rights registrations, by the Government of Sri Lanka. StrS is the first ST register developed and deployed by any operating credit bureau in the World. At present Lakmal drives the 2nd phase development program (2014 – 2018) and involved in the ST Legal Reform Project of the bureau. Of his 19 years of industry exposure Mr Lakmal has 8 years of credit bureau management expertise in diverse domain areas including ST operations. He is by profession an Engineer specialized in information systems integration and holds the Master’s Degree (Honors) in Computer Science from Georgian Technical University, Tbilisi, Georgia and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

JASON LAMB, Deputy Director, Financial Services for the Poor, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Jason Lamb is the Deputy Director, Global Partner Engagement in the Financial Services for the Poor initiative at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Prior to joining the foundation in November 2009, Jason spent 6 years at Washington Mutual Bank where he managed the Consumer Checking portfolio, product strategy, and team. In addition, he spent time managing the operational risk strategy for the retail bank and as an organizational consultant to the Executive Committee and their teams. Jason gained experience in the financial institutions sector during his seven years at McKinsey & Company, where he spent time advising banks in Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and North America. He was a founding member of the McKinsey Budapest office. Jason holds a BA in Economics and History from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

HAYS LITTLEJOHN, Chief Executive Officer, EBA Clearing EBA CLEARING is the leading private-industry provider of pan-European infrastructure solutions for euro payments. Prior to that, Hays held managerial and executive positions in global transaction banking at UBS, covering the areas of product management, relationship management, sales, business development and market infrastructures. Hays also served on the Boards of CLS and EBA CLEARING.

KLAUS MARTIN LÖBER, Head, Secretariat of the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI), Bank for International Settlements (BIS) The CPMI’s mandate is to promote the safety and efficiency of payment, clearing, settlement and related arrangements. It is a global standard setter in this area and also serves as a forum for central bank cooperation in related matters. Prior to his current position, Mr Löber was Head of the Oversight Division of the European Central Bank and Chair of the ESCB Working Group on Oversight. Earlier work practice includes the European Commission, Deutsche Bundesbank and private practice. Mr Löber is regularly writing on financial markets legal, regulatory and infrastructure issues.

In October 2013, Margrith was elected as Chairman of International Factors Group (IFG) where she served as a Board Member since 2011. She has written numerous articles on Forfaiting and Factoring including a book, published in 1998 by Euromoney, titled “A Guide to Forfaiting”. She has also been a regular speaker on the subject of trade finance for many years travelling around the World teaching audiences the benefits of Factoring and Forfaiting.

TONY LYTHGOE, Practice Manager, Financial Infrastructure & Access, Finance & Markets Global Practice, World Bank Group Tony began his career in the financial services industry as a lending officer within a leading UK high street bank, then moving to a major international bank with roles as a senior credit officer and retail portfolio manager. He began his involvement with credit bureaus in 1992 when he moved to CCN (now Experian) as a credit scoring consultant specializing in bureau scores and application processing / strategy management. In 1995 this experience was used to help establish Equifax Europe’s Decision Solutions business based in London. In 1999 Tony was invited to take charge of the decisioning business of the Australian credit bureau (now called Veda Advantage) and as Chief Executive Officer for international business he was responsible for the deployment of both credit bureau and scoring solutions in partner countries throughout Asia. Tony joined International Finance Corporation (IFC) in 2002, initially as a short-term consultant, providing domain expertise in credit risk management, credit bureaus and SME banking. This role has involved him in working on a wide variety of technical assistance projects across Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe. Today Tony heads up WBG’s Financial Infrastructure department. He manages a core team of senior financial infrastructure specialists operating in more than 60 countries and is a member of the global Standard Setting Committee on credit reporting.

ELAINE MACEACHERN, Asia-Pacific Regional Product Specialist, World Bank Group Ms. MacEachern is currently the Asia Pacific Regional Product Specialist for WBG’s financial infrastructure secured lending product. Elaine has over fifteen years of public and private sector experience and a solid track record providing consultative services and trusted advice to governments, development agencies and international financial institutions. Elaine was a former Registrar of both Land Titles (immoveable) and Personal Property (moveable) in Canada. She has participated in the design, development and implementation of secured transaction reform projects and registry systems in Canada, Russian, Asia and Africa under Common, Civil and Islamic law regimes. She has extensive experience in legislative and public registry reform projects involving various alternative operational and governance models. She actively monitors the global development of secured transaction law and operational frameworks and is frequently sought as

MICHAEL MALAN, Managing Director, Compuscan CRB Ltd, Uganda Mike has developed a unique skill working as a specialist over the past twenty two years in the Private Sector Credit Information Industry. He has worked in both commercial and consumer credit bureaus where he has had the opportunity to obtain insight and knowledge into many different organization’s credit, fraud and risk policies, using credit bureau solutions to assist lenders in overall risk reduction and risk controlled growth. His career focuses have included: Consumer and Commercial Credit Bureau Services, Credit Insurance, Cheque Verification and Debt Collection Services, Credit Information Solutions for the Micro Finance Industry, Credit Scoring and Automated Decision Support services, Identity Theft and Credit Application Fraud Prevention solutions, Regulatory and Legislative frameworks for the establishment and operation of credit bureaus especially in emerging market economies. Mike qualified with his MBA in 2001, after completing his dissertation, with distinction, entitled “Reducing Corporate Dishonored Cheques in South Africa using credit bureau information”. In early 2007 Mike took up the challenge to drive Compuscan’s credit bureau offerings and biometric identity systems into East Africa and he is presently involved in working across the region in delivering credit bureau solutions into emerging Africa. Mike lives in Kampala, Uganda with his wife and two sons. He is passionate about off road adventures, camping and all forms of sport fishing.

JEFFREY MARQUARDT, Deputy Director, Division of Reserve Bank Operations and Payment Systems, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System Jeffrey Marquardt is a Deputy Director in the Federal Reserve Board’s Division of Reserve Bank Operations and Payment Systems. He has responsibility for a range of programs dealing with the oversight and supervision of payment, clearing, and settlement activities of the Federal Reserve Banks. He also has responsibility for the Division’s economic research program focused on payment and settlement issues. Mr. Marquardt has worked at the Federal Reserve Board for over 30 years. He began his career in 1981 in the Board’s Division of International Finance and worked extensively on international banking issues. In 1991 Mr. Marquardt joined the Federal Reserve Board’s Division of Reserve Bank Operations and Payment Systems. He is a member of the BIS Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures, and has served on numerous task forces for that committee and other BIS committees. He has also worked with the World Bank and IMF on a variety of payment and settlement issues. Mr. Marquardt holds a PhD in economics and a JD in law from the University of Wisconsin.

ANDRES F. MARTINEZ, Senior Financial Sector Specialist, World Bank Group

Andres F. Martinez is a senior financial sector specialist for the World Bank Group’s Credit Infrastructure team. He is currently working on insolvency reform in three regions. In his current position, he leads on behalf of the WBG Finance and Markets Global Practice the dialogue with governments on technical issues related to debt resolution and insolvency and the support to regional IFC and WB offices. Andres is a lawyer by training with over 14 years of experience and a Magister in corporate law. He joined the World Bank Group in 2008 to lead the Insolvency indicator of the World Bank-IFC Doing Business project, and before joining the World Bank Group, Andres worked as senior associate at the restructuring and litigation department of a top Argentine law firm in Buenos Aires for over 6 years, where he advised clients like Citibank, Visa, Unilever and other large domestic and international corporations.

He also has responsibility for driving enterprise-wide partnership strategy and innovation, helping MasterCard to use its technology in new and dynamic ways for a host of diverse merchant, business and government partners. Mr Menendez joined MasterCard in 2010 and was, most recently, group executive, Global Credit and Debit, for MasterCard. As the regional cards director, he was responsible for the cards business strategy and execution for more than 18 countries across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Menendez worked in Brand Management with Procter & Gamble and with a law office in Washington DC. Mr. Menendez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University, a Master of Arts in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School.

FREDESVINDA FATIMA MONTES, Senior Financial Sector Specialist, Finance and Markets Global Practice, World Bank Group Fredes Montes a Spanish National is Senior Financial Sector Specialist at the World Bank. She joined the World Bank in 2007 as a credit reporting systems specialist and since then has supported policy reforms in more than 30 projects worldwide. Currently also serves as Secretariat to the International Committee on Credit Reporting (ICCR) and recently co-authored the book “Responsible Finance and Credit Reporting Systems” which focuses on the links between insolvency and credit information. Ms. Montes focuses on credit reporting policy including legal and regulatory framework, consumer protection and oversight. Previously, she was legal director at Experian Spain, where she was responsible for the consumer protection and compliance unit of the credit bureau and value added services business lines. Ms. Montes earned her degree in Law at the Universidad Complutense and studied Political Science at Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia in Madrid. Additionally she holds a Master’s degree in Data Protection and New Technologies Law.

NEIL MUNROE, President, ACCIS, Director and Principle Consultant, CRS Insights Limited, UK Neil has 35 years’ experience in the financial services and credit reporting industries. For over 24 years he was with Equifax where he held a number of positions in business development and operations including that of Sales Director for Equifax’s Consumer Information Services credit reporting business in the UK. For the last 12 years at Equifax he was Director responsible for External Affairs and Communications which involved extensive customer, industry body and government liaison, monitoring regulatory and other external affairs that could influence the credit reporting industry in the UK. Prior to working for Equifax, Neil worked for a subsidiary of the Lloyds Bank Group, for 11 years, where he performed a number of roles including the co-ordination of the development of the use of credit reporting and credit scoring across a number of business operations. In March 2015 Neil set up his own company, CRS Insights Limited which provides strategic and operational consulting services to all stakeholders involved in credit reporting systems, including data suppliers and users, credit reporting service providers (private credit bureau and public credit registers) and regulator/policy makers. One of his first clients is Equifax UK who have engaged his company to represent their interests at ACCIS. Neil is a member of the UK Institute of Credit Management and an advisor on consumer credit matters to the Institute’s Technical Advisory Committee. He has been a member of the Executive Management Committee of ACCIS, the Association of Consumer Credit Information Suppliers, since June 2007 and took over the role of President in June 2009. ACCIS represents 50 consumer credit reporting agencies in 34 countries. Neil is also a member of the International Committee on Credit Reporting (ICCR) that is hosted by the World Bank.

Prior to his appointment as Vice Governor, Getahun held various positions at the National Bank of Ethiopia including, Acting Director of Supervision Directorate and Manager of the Banking Supervision Department. Under his current position as Vice Governor, Getahun has played critical role in putting in place comprehensive legal, regulatory and supervisory framework for financial institutions as well as in setting up credit reference bureau and automated payment transfer system in the country.

ARIF NASIBOV, Operations Officer, Finance and Markets Global Practice, WBG, Uzbekistan

Arif is Project officer of Azerbaijan-Central Asia Financial Infrastructure Project, WBG’s Finance & Markets Global Practice. He is experienced in credit reporting and secured transactions. In his current assignment he maintain relations with public and private sectors coordinating activity aimed to development of sustainable systems of credit information sharing and secured transactions in Uzbekistan and Central Asia countries. Specifically, he helped to build modern credit reporting legislation in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyz Republic, and contributed to creation of necessary legal environment for the collateral registry in Uzbekistan. The Uzbek registry was launched on July 1, 2014 and since those time has registered more than 200K notices already (www.garov.uz). Prior to joining WBG, Arif worked in the biggest commercial bank of Uzbekistan.

HARISH NATARAJAN, Senior Payment Systems Specialist, Finance and Markets Global Practice Group, World Bank Group Harish is a Senior Payment Systems Specialist with the Payment Systems Development Group, at the World Bank (April 2009 to present). His responsibilities include assisting countries in improving safety, reliability and efficiency of payments, remittances and securities settlement systems; participating in country and regional payment systems diagnostic studies; and supporting countries in implementation of payment systems and payment systems reforms. He is currently working on projects in these areas in several countries across all World Bank regions. He also represents the World Bank in the retail payments working groups of the Committee on Payment Market Infrastructures at the Bank for International Settlements. He has participated in the Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP) in Papua New Guinea, Oman, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan and Suriname. Prior to joining the World Bank, Harish worked with VISA Inc, in the South Asia region in various senior level positions in business development, operations and risk management. Prior to VISA, Harish worked in technology and project management roles in Citigroup, Infosys and other technology companies, primarily in the areas of payment systems. Harish holds an under-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology-Madras and a Post Graduate Diploma, from Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta, specializing in IT systems and Finance.

Clay has worked in the financial inclusion sector for 12 years. From 2012 to 2013, he spent a year in Myanmar with the UN, managing the Access to Finance projects at the multi-donor Livelihoods and Food Security Trust. Clay has also worked at AYANI Inclusive Financial Sector Consultants and for the global microfinance network, Opportunity International. JOHAN PISSENS, Head, Prudential Supervision on Market Infrastructures & Oversight Department, National Bank of Belgium Johan Pissens is head of the National Bank of Belgium’s Prudential Supervision on Market Infrastructures & Oversight Department. This department is in charge of the oversight (standard setting and enforcement) of Financial Market Infrastructures (FMIs) established in/relevant for Belgium, and for the prudential supervision of FMIs with banking status, custodians, and payment institutions established in Belgium. Given the international dimension of some of these infrastructures, the NBB has set up a number of cooperative arrangements, for instance with respect to the oversight of SWIFT and of Euroclear, for which it acts as lead overseer. ILYA RIABY, General Manager for Russian Cluster (comprised of Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan), MasterCard Ilya Riaby is General Manager for Russian Cluster (comprised of Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan). In this role he and his team are responsible for managing MasterCard relationships with customers across these markets, cultivating and developing business opportunities with existing and new customers and developing and executing MasterCard strategy in the markets. Mr. Riaby joined MasterCard in August 1998 as regional business manager for Russia and Ukraine. He came from Most-Bank, one of the most dynamic card players in the country and the pioneer of the industry. At Most-Bank, in the capacity of Director, Means of Payment, he was ultimately responsible for the bank's payment card business. He started his career at the Bank for Foreign Economic Development of the USSR (Vneshecombank), the first bank in the USSR to sign a license agreement with MasterCard. Further positions of Mr. Riaby at MasterCard included key account manager for Sberbank (Savings Bank of the Russian Federation) and head of sales Russia. Mr. Riaby is a Russian citizen and grew up in Moscow. He holds a Master’s degree in finance and credit from State Academy of Finance, Moscow. He works out of the MasterCard Moscow office.

MICHAEL RITTER, Head, Credit Registry, Deutsche Bundesbank Michael Ritter has been Head of Central Credit Register at the Deutsche Bundesbank since 1996. He is a credit register specialist with 25 years of experience in banking supervision, development of legal and administrative structures, implementation of credit reporting systems, conducting data analyses and advising other central banks in setting up and enhancing credit registers. Against the background of the financial crises, his focus has been on micro- and macro-prudential analyses on credit portfolios of financial intermediaries. As a long term member of the Working Group on Credit Registers of the European System of Central Banks (WGCR), which represents public credit registers in Europe, he is involved at the European level in cooperation and promotion of a cross-border information exchange. He was appointed Chairman of this group in 2008. Since this time he has been responsible for the development of the magnitude of the cross-border information exchange and development of both its worthiness and its technical infrastructure. In his capacity as chairman of the WGCR, he was an official observer in the Expert Group on Credit Histories of the EU Commission. He is an active member of the International Committee on Credit Reporting of the World Bank. Furthermore, he is Deutsche Bundesbank’s representative in the Regulatory Oversight Committee of the Global Legal Entity Identifier System and member of its Executive Committee. He has a degree in Economics and Central Banking at the University of the Deutsche Bundesbank, Hachenburg, Germany.

ELSA RODRIGUEZ FELIPE, Associate Operations Officer, Finance and Markets Global Practice, World Bank Group Elsa Rodríguez works for the WBG’s Finance and Markets Global Practice based in Rabat, Morocco. She leads Financial Infrastructure projects mostly in MENA and West Africa regions but has equal experience in Latin American and the Caribbean. She focuses on the implementation of movable collateral registries reforms as well as credit reporting systems by providing technical advice to Governments and relevant stakeholders. Elsa has over 7 years of varied professional experience in the field of secured lending, credit reporting, international commerce, stock exchange operations and commercial banking. Prior to joining IFC, her last assignment was at the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington D.C., where she wrote reports on foreign trade, including trade policies and macroeconomic and investment data. She also advised Spanish companies regarding legal aspects and investment opportunities in the US. Elsa has a Bachelor degree in Economics from University of Carlos III in Madrid and a Masters in International Business Management from CECO Economic and Commercial Institute.

DANIELA RUSSO, Chief Market Infrastructure and Payments Oversight Policy Officer, European Central Bank Daniela Russo is Chief Market Infrastructure and Payments Oversight Policy Officer at the European Central Bank (ECB), based in Frankfurt am Main. She chairs or has participated in several working groups or committees working in the field of payment and settlement systems, both at European and global level. Some of these groups involve only central banks (e.g. PSSC, CPSS, CLS and SWIFT Oversight). Other groups involve central banks and securities regulators (ESCB-CESR, CPSS-IOSCO, T2-S Oversight and Derivatives Regulators Forum). Over the past year in conjunction with the SME Finance Forum David has been conducting an evaluation of the EFL Psychometric Score. David has over twenty years’ experience in risk analysis and management, including 13 years in credit portfolio risk management and scoring for MSME lending. David has MBA and MSF degrees in Finance and a MPH in epidemiology.

C CIL is a Qualified Central Counterparty (Q CCP) serving the OTC markets in lndia. CCIL also functions as a Trade Repository for OTC Derivatives in India. In addition, CCIL is authorised to act as a Local Operating Unit (LOU) for issuing globally compatible Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) in India. CCIL's wholly owned subsidiary, Clearcorp Dealing Systems (India) Ltd. (Clearcorp) operates / manages electronic trading platforms for forex trading (spot and forward), money market transactions and government securities. Mr. Sridharan also served State Bank of India for 39 years and retired as the Managing Director of the Bank. He has handled diverse assignments during his career with State Bank, such as Head of corporate Accounts Group in Ahmedabad, General Manager of the Bank’s Treasury Operations in Mumbai, Chief General Manager of the Bangalore Circle of the Bank, Managing Director of SBI Capital Markets Limited, the Investment Banking arm of the Bank and Managing Director of the Bank.

PEER STEIN, Director, Finance & Markets Global Practice, World Bank Group Peer, a German national, assumed his position in July 2014. In this role, he is responsible for the global solutions of the Practice’s financial, advisory, and convening services, including financial sector reform and policy, financial infrastructure and access, and finance for development. Before that, Peer was responsible for IFC’s Access to Finance Advisory Business Line, a position he has held since 2009. Peer has also been leading the World Bank Group’s engagement with the G-20 on financial inclusion and is the current chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the Future of Finance. He joined IFC in 1996, and has worked in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the

He holds a master’s degree in business administration and economics from Witten/Herdecke University, and has been teaching financial sector reform and development at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies. Peer is married and has two children.

MURAT SULTANOV, Senior Operations Officer, Finance & Markets Global Practice, World Bank Group Based in Amman, Jordan. He works to promote development of secured transactions and leasing in MENA, Europe & Central Asia and South Asia regions. Murat previously worked as a Program Manager for the IFC Advisory Services in MENA and ECA where he supervised a number of programs including secured transactions & collateral registries, credit reporting and leasing. He has extensive experience in managing and implementing regulatory reforms and capacity building programs globally. His experience include drafting and supporting the enactment of various legislative acts related to leasing, secured transactions and credit reporting in more than 30 jurisdictions in the former Soviet Union, Middle East & North Africa, South East Asia and Africa. Murat represented IFC at the Advisory Board and Drafting Committee at UNIDROIT to develop Model Law on Leasing. He holds an LL.M degree (Master of Laws) from the University of Southampton, UK.

EUPHEMIA GBADEE SWEN-MONMIA, Senior Bank Examiner, Central Bank of Liberia Euphemia is a Senior Staff in the Regulation and Supervision Department of the Central Bank of Liberia. She spearheaded the establishment of the Collateral Registry that was launched on June 18, 2014 and is now responsible for the effective and efficient operations of the Registry’s system and the Credit Reference System at the Central Bank of Liberia. Euphemia joined the Central Bank of Liberia in the Regulation and Supervision Department immediately upon graduation from the African Methodist Episcopal University as an entry level Examiner in March 2010 and has risen through the ranks of the Department due to her dedication toward improving the financial sector in her country, Liberia. She became Senior Bank Examiner in January 2013, where she served as Examiner-In-Charge (EIC) for a number of examinations and is currently leading the transformation of the credit reference system of the CBL into a more efficient credit reference system.

DIANA TALERO, Consultant and Former advisor for the Superintendency of Companies, Colombia Diana Lucia Talero Castro is a Colombian lawyer specializing in company law. She served as Technical Secretary of the Drafting Committee of the 2013 Secured Transactions Law (Law 1676) and its implementing regulations, as a member of the Drafting Committee of the 2006 Business Insolvency Act (Law 1116) and the 2012 Insolvency of Natural Persons Act (Law 1564). She was a representative of Colombia to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) on issues of insolvency and security interests. Ms. Talero is a graduate of Javeriana University of Colombia, Fellow of INSOL International, Senior Associate Lawyer of Urdaneta, Velez, Pearl & Abdallah Lawyers, and a consultant for the World Bank Group on security interests in their projects in Chile, Colombia and Costa Rica and lecturer at the Andes University, Javeriana University and National University in Colombia.

GHADA TEIMA, Principal Operations Officer, World Bank Group. Ms. Teima has over 20 years of financial sector development and consulting experience. She currently focuses on digital inclusion and SME Finance. Previously, she has managed Access to Finance advisory operations in Latin America and the Caribbean and has previously worked in the Middle East and North Africa region on related topics. She has led IFC Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Finance Advisory Practice globally as well as led the IFC/ World Bank G20 SME Finance Working Group, which has supported the G20 Financial Inclusion agenda under the Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI). Prior to joining IFC, Ms. Teima held several positions in the private sector in the areas of corporate finance and management consulting at the national and regional levels with the former Andersen Consulting and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu International. Ms. Teima has private sector experience in corporate finance consulting services, supporting clients with initial public offerings, private placements and mergers and acquisitions. She has been with the World Bank Group for 10 years.

IGNACIO TIRADO, International Insolvency Expert, Professor of Universidad Autonoma de Madrid Ignacio Tirado has a PhD from the University of Bologna (Italy), a PhD from the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid (Spain), and LLM from the University of London (UK) and an LLB from the University of Madrid (Spain). Ignacio is currently a tenured academic teaching Corporate and Insolvency Law at the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid (Spain) and Consultant on insolvency-related matters to the IMF´s Legal Department and the World Bank’s Financial Sector Practice. A qualified lawyer, Ignacio was Of Counsel of the Business Restructuring and Insolvency Practice of Hogan Lovells, LLP (Madrid Office, then Lovells LLP). MARIA ELSA UZAL, Commercial Judge, National Court of Appeals, Argentina Dr. Maria Elsa Uzal is the Clerk and Lawyer graduated with honors at the School of Law (Universidad del Salvador). RUTH WANDHÖFER, Global Head of Regulatory and Markets Strategy, CITI Ruth Wandhöfer is a regulatory expert in the field of banking and one of the foremost authorities on transaction banking regulatory matters. She is Global Head of Regulatory and Market Strategy for Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions business. In this role Ruth’s key responsibilities include driving regulatory and industry dialogue and developing product and market strategy in line with the evolving regulatory landscape. She is also a member of the European Commission Payment Systems Market Expert Group (PSMEG), a very small group of hand-picked industry experts. Ruth was named as one of 2010s ‘Rising Stars’ by Financial News; named in Management Today’s 2011 ‘35 Women under 35’ list of women to watch (Sunday Times), and one of the 100 Most Influential People in Finance 2012 as named by Treasury Risk Magazine. LOUISA HETISANI, Credit Information & Research Manager, South African National Credit Regulator (NCR) Louisa is responsible for monitoring compliance of registered credit bureaus to the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 and its Regulations. Her responsibilities include producing credible statistics on the credit health of South African consumers and fulfilling the research mandate of the NCR. Prior to joining the NCR in 2007, Louisa Hetisani worked in different roles a number of institutions, including the National Department of Human Settlements and the University of South Africa (UNISA). Notable is her six (6) years teaching experience as a Lecturer in Risk Management at UNISA. She received a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) degree from the UNISA Graduate School in 2004. She also holds the Bcom and Hons Bcom degrees. XIAOLEI WANG, Deputy Director General, Credit Reference Center, the People’s Bank of China Wang Xiaolei is the Deputy Director General of Credit Reference Center, the People’s Bank of China. Her research focuses on individual data protection, financial education and credit reporting. JOHN WILSON, Senior Operations Officer, World Bank Group Mr. Wilson is a Senior Specialist on Secured Transactions with the World Bank Group, where he covers reform projects globally, but with specific emphasis on the Latin America and the Caribbean Region. He has over 15 years’ experience in the development and implementation of secured transactions systems and collateral registries at the multilateral and local level. Before joining WBG, he served as Senior Officer with the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) in Rome, where oversaw an effort for drafting a legislative guide on securities trading in emerging markets, and provided follow-up and local implementation support to the Geneva Securities Convention, Close-out Netting, and the Cape Town Convention on Interests in Mobile Equipment. Prior to that, Mr. Wilson headed the area of Private International Law at the Organization of American States in Washington, DC, where his principal duties included the drafting, adoption and implementation of conventions and other commercial legal instruments in the Americas. Mr. Wilson, based in Panama City, is a graduate of the University of Arizona, College of Law.

ENDRITA XHAFERAJ, Secretary General, Albanian Association of Banks (AAB) Ms Endrita Xhaferaj is the Secretary General of the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB), an organization that represents the 16 commercial banks currently operating in Albania. She joined AAB in October 2009, after having directed the SPI Albania's Financial Sector Modernization Program (under the World Bank Convergence Program). Previously Ms Xhaferaj had worked for 8 years at the Bank of Albania, in the Departments of Statistics and Banking Supervision. She has studied in areas of international finance, accounting and auditing, money and banking, and currently teaches Financial Accounting at the European University of Tirana. Nesar Ahmad Yosufzai, Director General, Public Credit Registry and Registry of Securing Charges on Movable Property, Da Afghanistan Bank

Mr. Yosufzai (BSc Economics, MBA Finance) is Credit Information Sharing expert leading the Credit Information sharing regime in Afghanistan as a Director General for Public Credit Registry and Registry of Securing Charges on Movable Property in Central Bank of Afghanistan. He has more than seven years considerable experience in both public and private financial sectors, particularly in the field of Commercial Banking, Secured Lending, Credit Reporting and Risk Management. Mr. Yosufzai has successfully led the efforts to establish a fully electronic and modernized Credit Information Sharing System in Afghanistan and was able to introduce the first online credit report in the history of financial sector of Afghanistan. Mr. Yosufzai, with his skills of multi team management and project delivery, has also led the initiative to establish the registration system for securing notices of charges on movable property "Collateral Registry" which is completely based on international best practices. The Afghanistan Collateral Registry was successfully rated as a first fully electronic online registry in MENA, by IFC and World Bank.

MARCUS ZICKWOLFF, Senior Advisor and Head of Clearing Initiatives, EUREX CLEARING Marcus Zickwolff holds a university degree in Mathematics from the Technical University of Darmstadt. He joined the Information Technology Section of Deutsche Terminbörse (DTB) in 1992. After contributing decisively to Deutsche Börse´s reorganization and the incorporation of DTB, Marcus was the Program Manager responsible for the successful launch of the initial Xetra® Releases from 1995 to 2001. Xetra® is the electronic trading system of the Deutsche Börse Group’s cash market. As Head of the Xetra® Market and Product Development Department he worked for the business development of the cash market, which included the introduction of a CCP for equities in 2002. From 2003 till 2013 Marcus led the groupwide System Design Department within Deutsche Börse AG’s Functionality Division, covering trading, clearing, settlement, and securities financing systems. In 2013 he became the Head of the Eurex Clearing Initiatives team, responsible for strategic issues and comprehensive support of clearing projects. Since February 2012 Marcus is the President of EACH (the European Association of Central Counterparty Clearing Houses) and, since May 2015, for the 2nd time, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of CCP12 (the Global Association of Central Counterparties).
