Other acts include Yabu; The Merindas; The Dulcitones; Philip Walley-Stack; Red Sand Beat; and Urban Youth Crew with the Wesley College Dancers. There will also be kids’ activities, rides and water slides, face and body painters, and a free community BBQ.

SOUTH PERTH CELEBRATION ZONE2pm – 7:30pm, Sir James Mitchell Park, South PerthSix activity areas in the Celebration Zone will offer 100 free activities for all ages: the Toddler & Kids Zone, with bouncy castles and water games; the Challenge Area; the Sports Zone with agility games and challenges; the Adrenalin Corner; the Rides Park; and the Art Zone, where kids can create a work inspired by their love of Australia.

WATER REGATTA 5pm – 8pm, Swan RiverAs well as being the perfect setting to experience the country’s biggest Australia Day celebration, our beautiful Swan River is also the place to see loads of water action. Don’t miss the classic Wooden Boat display and the WA Show Ski Team carving up the Perth water.

BYO PICNIC ZONESSections of Kings Park and Langley ParkLimited alcohol will be permitted in two designated BYO Picnic Zones; one located in a section of Kings Park and Botanic Garden and one on Langley Park. In these zones it will be permitted to bring along a small amount of alcohol (one bottle of wine or a six pack of beer/pre-mixed drinks per adult 18+) to consume while watching the fireworks between the hours of 6:30pm and 8:45pm.

CITY OF PERTH AIR SHOW3:45pm – 7:50pm, over the Swan RiverBefore the fireworks, look skyward for an aviation spectacular! Adventurous pilots will perform stunning aerobatics in a variety of aircraft as vintage aircraft, helicopters, and high tech planes all take to the sky. Skydivers will delight, the RAAF will dazzle in formation, and for the first time, the Royal Flying Doctor Service will show off its PC12 aircraft in the airshow spectacular, celebrating 80 years of the RFDS in WA.

LASER AND WATER SPECTACULAR8pm, Langley Park Fountains will spray jets of water into the air providing a glittering backdrop for lasers to create a symphony of vivid colours and dramatic beam effects. Choreographed to the spectacular Skyworks display over the Swan River, the Laser and Water spectacular can be viewed this year from Langley Park.

2015 SKYWORKS PYROTECHNIC DISPLAY8pmThe sky above the Swan River will explode into colour and light for this much loved highlight of the Perth summer, as acclaimed pyrotechnics company Foti Fireworks once again deliver Western Australia’s largest annual fireworks display.
