1. Authors: Tieka Trikartika Gustyana, Almirah Jumran Title: THE EFFECT OF LIQUIDITY RISK ON BANKING PERFORMANCE Track: Corporate Finance (FGC-A) ID: SCBTII-FGC-A-01 Abstract: The banks' role in promoting the country's economy is important. The assessments of financial performance and liquidity risk are the internal factors in measuring banking performance. The liquidity risk measure by several factors, which are liquidity gap, cash, deposits, NPLs, and Bank Indonesia reference interest rates. Meanwhile, bank performances measure by earnings before tax. This research used a quantitative approach. The research objects are foreign banks registered in Indonesia during the 2014-2018 period. The sampling technique used purposive sampling following the criteria specified in this study. The data analysis technique used the multiple linear regression method. This research methodology used the F test, the determination coefficient, and partial testing done by the t-test. Based on the partial test results, NPL and deposits affect the EBT, while cash, liquidity gap, and interest rates did not affect the EBT. The simultaneous test results show all variables simultaneously influenced EBT.

2. Authors: Nita Karlina Title: COMPARARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE BLACK-SCHOLES MODEL AND THE BINOMIAL MODEL ON THE RUPIAH AGAINST THE DOLLAR FOR HEDGING IN 2018. Track: Financial Accounting (FGC-B) ID: SCBTII-FGC-B-02 Abstract: In this study, currency is a tool used for all legal payment method in the world. Of the several currencies that are spalled out from the group of convertible currencies or in the other words, currencies that are the trust of economic actors throughout the world because they have a value that is believed to be stable. This research will examine the US dollar against the rupiah which will depend on market policies and mechanism. In 2018 there will be sustainable economics where the value of the rupiah weakness and also touch volatility up to 25% and makes economics actors worry about protecting their asset. So Bank Indonesia provide to protect asset by using derivatives product. The model to be used in this research is Black Scholes model and will be compared with the Binomial model for the case of exchange of rupiah against the dollar and both models are measured using Averange Mean Square Error (AMSE) to see how small the error is obtained. In the agreement with a period of one month, Black Scholes model is better for call option while

SCBTII 11th 2020 - Page | 14

the Binomial model. In the two month agreement the Binomial model is better than Black Scholes model for call call and put. And the three month agreement, the Binomial model is better than the Black Scholes model for put and call.

Authors: Umar Yaseer Abdur Rahman Title: UTILIZATION OF INDONESIA’S DIGITAL ECONOMY TO INVEST IN HUMAN CAPITAL AND PROVIDE SOCIO-ECONOMIC SUPPORT TO STIMULATE ECONOMIC GROWTH Track: E-Business (DBM-C) ID: SCBTII-DBM-C-37 Abstract: Indonesian’s digital economy sector can be used to invest in human capital and provide socio-economic support to the Indonesian population. Virtual presence; social connectivity; data availability, access, and utilization; materialistically and financially empowers users to make beneficial transactions daily. One example of this can be observed in the financial investing of human capital through peer to peer (P2P) lending. P2P lending can provide financial support to the non-banking segment of the population who account for, according to Bank of Indonesia, over a 1 trillion Rp financing gap. This gap is a potential loss in consumer spending that could assist in the country’s economic growth. In addition, educational investment in human capital is important to stimulate economic growth. Productive gains in business operations can increase across Indonesia’s industries if the skillset of workers currently in the labor market can be advanced through accessible training, such as online learning and certification platforms. Furthermore, investing in the accessibility and quality of curricula to the common population, even at a young age, can effectively develop

individuals to create and maintain competitive advantages across Indonesia’s industries in the global and local markets. In addition to investing in human capital, Indonesia’s digital economy can provide socio-economic support that assists in securing the wellbeing and productivity of the country’s population. A recent example of this is observed when one considers that since the end of the first quarter of 2020, the digital economy has seen a surge in cash flow in some segments as a result of the federal government response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ecommerce, logistic, and eHealth companies have assisted in providing commodities and services to consumers and businesses experiencing the effects of lockdown. Before the 2020 pandemic, segments of Indonesia’s digital economy received over 2.9 Billion USD in investment by the end of 2019. As investment in the digital economy has increased in the past decade, so has the number of users onboarding the platforms within the digital economy. The digital economy supplies social economic support to such a degree that users of its online platforms have surpassed 105 million (users less than 54 years of age) in 2016. Stake holders and government policy makers can leverage the benefits of the digital economy to invest in human capital and stimulate economic growth through socio-economic support.

KIMIA FARMA Track: Big Data and Data Sciences (DBM-A) ID: SCBTII-DBM-A-44 Abstract: The aim of this study is to explore whether captured procurement data of PT Kimia Farma can be used to predict next procurement using Markov Chain method accurately. Similar techniques have been implemented as reported by several Articles. However The accuracy varies. The prediction is carried out using markov chain model with maximum likelihood, maximum likelihood with laplace smoothing, bootstrap approach and maximum a posteriori. The intention of using multi Markov’s approaches is to find the one that gives the best prediction. The results show that the prediction give a little accuracy to predict next procurement activity, even though in one of the conditions, the prediction shows quite good results. Laplace Smoothing is seen as the best method for improving prediction results.

Track: Financial Accounting (ACC-A) ID: SCBTII-ACC-A-47 Abstract: Over the past six years, the stock market investment in Indonesia has significantly increased. Investors can use the portfolio method to maximize returns by minimizing the risk to their investment. In this study, an alternatives portfolio will be formed referring to active and passive strategies on the LQ45 Index. The LQ45 index includes the most liquid stocks listed on the IDX. The measurement of this study will use the ratio of Price Earning to Growth (PEG) and Tobin's Q. After the portfolio is formed then an evaluation will be conducted using the Sharpe Index, Treynor Index, and Jensen Index until the results can be categorized as optimal portfolios. The results show that the PEG Medium portfolio is consistently able to provide relatively high return values above the average value with risks that can be categorized as low below the average, in the passive, active annual, active semester strategy, even though the active quarter strategy does not have sufficient performance good. And for Tobin's Q low and obin’s Q medium portfolios have a relatively high return value with a relatively high risk value, this shows a correlation with high risk high return theory. Overall, the active annual strategy has the highest accumulation rate of return with a relatively low level of risk compared to other strategies. These results are consistent with the objective of optimal portfolio formation. In addition, the results of the performance evaluation show that Tobin's Q low and Tobin’s Q medium portfolios produces a good evaluation performance value above the average in both the Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen indices.
