Scheme of filling Bids

✔ Application form is filled in on Ship-owner’s personal account;

✔ Ship-owner may restrict access to tenders for unfair suppliers;

✔ ETS officers verify the application for fairness and discrepancies and mistakes;

✔ Ship owner may independently choose the date of tender;

✔ Tender is organized according to the application;

Key points about application and tenders➢ In its application, the Ship-owner may choose the date of tender and/or the electronic

system will set the date of tender automatically

➢For each port, a number of “buffer” days prior to ETA is set, that is, the days required to conclude a contract and make sure all the formalities are observed

➢Automatically the tender is set on the last days before the “buffer” days

➢The tender is held starting from 10:00 local time of the port specified in the bunkering application

➢The tenderer that made a lowest price offer is recognized as the preferred tenderer

➢Tender lasts for 6 hours. Tender is extended automatically should any tenderer makes an offer during the last 15 minutes before the tender closing

➢The tender shall be considered void if no offers were made

➢ If only one offer was made in the tender, the Ship-owner shall decide whether or not to enter into contract with the preferred tenderer
