Schenker Australia Pty Ltd has a team of 36 licensed Customs Brokers. The individual experience in this team ranges from 36 years in the industry through to recently

licensed brokers with 3 to 4 years of experience. The Customs tariff is comprised of 97 tariff headings and we can confidently say that our Brokers have extensive

experience in all of these.

Our brokers will be responsible for checking and lodging all import declarations. They will monitor customs clearance activities ensuring all shipments are pre-cleared

and all quarantine requirements have been finalised. They will also be responsible to maintain the product database with tariff classifications, tariff concession orders,

tariff advice rulings and valuation advice details (where applicable).

DB Schenker in Australia has a very good record with both Australian Customs and Quarantine. Customs

have a high degree of confidence in DB Schenker's ability to comply with Customs related law. We are always

prepared to consider any recommendations put forward by Customs as a result of such audits. Australian

Quarantine conduct regular checks of our Quarantine Approved premises and we continue to remain

compliant, accredited and licensed.
