reach its international audience if produced as a lineair tv documentary

3.Financing: Both projects had a budget of approx. !100.000 (too little)

    Non-fiction Transmedia, 5 lessons

1.Talent: Non fiction transmedia grant program helps to develop new generation of digitalnative talent that have no affiliation with traditional broadcasting

2.No boundaries: Transmedia projects have an international long tail audience which is

younger and in general more (socially) involved

3.Innovation: Language and the grammar of transmedia is still developing: newdevelopments emerge (we need pioneers)

4.R&D: Its difficult to realize transmedia research projects within traditional broadcastsetting (in the Netherlands): We need to move from lart pour lartto lart pour largent to

    lart pour public

5.Traveling dialogue: Regions NEED to LOVE Transmedia because it will give theminstruments to deal with global issues (migration, environment, religion, education, mental

    health etc)
