December 31, 2017 Feast of the Holy Family

Dear parishioners: A blessed and prosperous New year to all of you from Deacons Ed-ward, Pablo, Sid, and myself. I pray that the season will be filled with peace and joy! Your parish calendars will be handed out tomorrow, Jan 1, Feast of Mary, Mother of God. Masses are only at 10:30 Eng-lish and 12 noon Spanish. Think about an end of the year gift to the parish. You can make the gift through the Catholic Foundation for the Benefit of Presentation of Our Lady Parish in any amount!

I want to thank our parishioners for their generosity during this

holy season. Remember that we are collecting money to build a

home in Haiti for a poor family. Cheap, cardboard shacks are de-

stroyed each year by hurricanes and many families are displaced.

You can mark a gift for Haiti and it will go to Cross Catholic Out-

reach for the house. Each home is $6000.

Families asking for infant baptism must make sure that godpar-

ents (padrinos) are married in the church and are confirmed. Parents

must be registered in the parish. Call Deacon Sid or Deacon Pablo for

preparation class. We will run one per month. Parish: 303-534-4882

x117. Marriage preparation: Please see me 8 months before your mar-

riage.

Quinceanera celebrations will be scheduled through the parish office

only. The girl and her escorts must be baptized and confirmed to do

these celebrations. No exceptions!!
