Sights of Bottrop

Tetraeder The Tetraeder is a most visited tourist spot in Bottrop. The Tetraeder is 50 meters high and has a steel construction. It rests on four 8-meter-high concrete pillars and is located on the crest of about 80 m high slope. The Tetraeder is since 1995 the symbol of Bottrop. In order to come up, you have to climb 387 steps.

Sights of Bottrop

AlpincenterThe AlpinCenter is an Alpine ski slope in a hall in Bottrop. It is the longest indoor skiing in the world with a length of 640 m and a width of 30 m. There will always be a snow run of about 40 cm to keep. The Alpincenter is there since 7th January 2001. In the ski hall is also a ski and snowboard school. The initiator was Marc Girardelli. Since 2008 there is also a summer toboggan run.

Movie Park Germany The Movie Park Germany is a seasonal amusement park and is located in Bottrop-Kirchellen. The park was created and opened in June 1996. There are many attractions, such as the wooden roller coaster, the Bermuda Triangle or the roller coaster Eraser.
