Implemented activities:

• Public procurement for selection of 15 persons with business ideas– Tender published in daily newspaper Večer (april

2010) – 110.000 daily readers– Tender published in national e-newsletter “My web

handbook” – Tender published in e-news of Bistra– Agreement with Chamber of Commerce and

Employment Service – presentations of tender to potential enterpreneurs

Details of tender• Target area: Spodnje podravje, 16 municipalities Cirkulane, Destrnik, Dornava, Gorišnica, Hajdina, Juršinci, Kidričevo, Majšperk, Markovci, Podlehnik, Mestna občina Ptuj, Sveti Andraž v Slovenskih Goricah, Trnovska vas, Videm, Zavrč in Žetale.

•Business support services up to 4500 € / enterprise•Persons must live outside of the area, but establish company within area / move into area.•12 different supportive services (choose 3 out of them)

– Professional Business plan and professional marketing plan– Help with searching of premises within area– Registration of enterprise (starting support)– Promotional package 1 and 2 (stamp, leaflet, cards, web site…)– Administrative support 3 types: (administration, ICT, accountant)– Searching for funds – Internationalization support

Implemented activities:• Selection of 15 business ideas

– Deadlines 31.5., 30.6. and 31.7.– Selection according to the quality of business idea – 15 enterpreneurs (9 women and 6 men) selected in

beginning of July 2010– Interviews implemented wit all of them– Agreement reached on supporting activities– All contracts signed until beginning of september– Several supporting activities already started (support

for establishment of SMEs, internationalization support, business plans, promotional activities.
