ByMrs. Jayshree Vitthal Shinde
Under the guidance of
Dr. A. E. Desai
INTRODUCTION
• Insect existed at least 20 million yrs ago.• Grain pests e.g. Rodents, Nematodes, Fungi• Classification of pests• Plants extracts/ botanical insecticides • Synthetic chemical compounds
Aim Of This Project
• Toxicity Evaluation of Synthesized Chemical Compounds on Stored Grain Pests.• To Protect Stored Grains.
Material & Methods
• Collection & Culture Of Sitophilus oryzae Linn
• Synthesis of chemical compounds.

Discussion
• There is significant increase in mortality from low to high dose of chemical compound.
• S. oryzae, R. dominica, T. castaneum shows high mortality when exposed to biogass in PVC bins (Bennett, 2003).
• Azadirachtin exhibited good efficiency against Musca nobulo L, Culex fatigans, Tribolium castaneum (Paul et, al.1963).
• PN101, LC50=1.5515+0.9982, PN104, LC50=1.3357+0.7354, PN105,LC50=1.5134+0.8954, PN106, LC50=1.5885+0.9567.
