AAB Introduction

• ActionAid is an international organization, working with over 25 million people in more than 42 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice. ActionAid Bangladeshis’ journey started as a small relief organization in 1983 in Bhola, a remote coastal belt in the southern part of Bangladesh.AAB is now working with 51 Non-government development agencies and 3 government departments.

• Implementation Mechanism

• The project is to be managed by ActionAid Bangladesh (AAB) and to be implemented by four local partner NGOs.

• The partner organizations will directly implement the project activities at field level in partnership with DMCs and communities where AAB will provide technical assistance. I

• Besides, ActionAid will implement the project at institutional level through Department of Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD). Besides, AAB will work with Center for Medical Education (CME), Directorate of Nursing Services and Directorate of Health Services (DGHS) on MCM issue
