Testing if an educational technology is right for you…

Social

Technology enables learners to develop their skills in ways that are connected to other aspects of their learning and living.

Information is freely available on the internet and elsewhere, and technology helps learners to sift through and curate the information to create own knowledge.

Technology gives access to information that is dynamic, multiply authored and shared. As a consequence the information is provisional.

Learning in and out of school. Activities start in class and continue after, enhanced by technology that reinforces, extends and relates learning.

Learners are able to engage with more than one source of information at a time, and can choose to ignore sources that do not resonate with their context.
