Biography: he born in the bronx, he raised in middle-class family,he was a bad student and because of that he started in the photography industry; he started working the cinema industries on a partnership with James B. Harris. And the result of this asociation was the movie (The Killing 1955 )

But the movie that became he famous was (Paths of Glory) 1957 with Kirk douglas

He next movie called spartacus 1960 was considered as best of 60’s decade. With a realle good starring conformed by laurence olivier, Charles Laughton, Peter Ustinov and kirk douglas.

After that movie there was a discussion between kirk duglas and stanley krubick, and that was the last movie that they made together
