Vincent Van Gogh

Vincent Van Gogh was a famous artist.He was born on the thirtieth of March 1853. He died on the twenty-ninth of July 1890 in France.His first painting was done in 1885: Potato Eaters.He painted nine hundred paintings and drew a thousand six hundred drawings .

SUNFLOWERSHe painted it in 1888 when he lived in Arles.He came up with the idea when he was decorating a friend’s house.Van Gogh painted the first vase with twelve sunflowers.

STARRY NIGHTThe painting shows the outside view at night from the window of a sanatorium where Van Gogh was for the rest of his life. He painted it thirteen months before the suicide in the year 1889.
