My name is Carol and I live with my family in Barnes, a small village near London. The most famous tourist attraction here is the Olympic Studios, where the Beatles recorded* All You Need is Love.

I have a big family, and we live together in a big house near the Thames: my grandparents sleep on the second floor, as well as my uncle Tom, my aunt Sylvia and my cousins Bryan and Sarah. Me, my parents and my siblings sleep

on the first floor. Downstairs we all meet, have our meals and

do our favourite hobby: watching TV!

In the living room there is a huge plasma TV where we watch our favourite TV shows. We have both public TV and cable TV, because we all like different shows. The biggest TV addict* of the family is my brother Harry! He is a couch potato! My mother, on the other hand, doesnt like TV at all. She says that TV causes lack of activity, and therefore* obesity, bad marks at school, lack of self-esteem and even violent behaviour! My grandmother thinks that TV is the best invention of all times! She always argues* that TV gives general knowledge and entertainment!

I think that TV can be both good and bad, its up to us* to decide how we use it!
