These words are often used with thepresent perfecttense althoughyet,stillandalreadycan all be used with other tenses.
JUSTJust is usually used only with the present perfect tense and it means a short time ago.In the present perfect, just comes between the auxiliary verb (have) and the past participle.
Examples:I have just seen Susan coming out of the cinema.
Beth and Elizabeth hasjustmoved to New York.
Have you just taken my pen?
YETYet is used to talk about something which is expected to happen. It means at any time up to now. It is used in questions and negatives.
Examples:Have you finished your homework yet?
Yet usually comes at the end of the sentence.
I havent finished it yet.
ALREADYIt is used to answer yes (affirmative) or to say that something has happened, and placed between the auxiliary (have) and the verb.
I havealreadyhad a swim in my swimming-pool.
I havealreadysaid my mathematics lesson.
