Day 1: Flight to EuropeBoard your overnight flight to Europe.

Day 2: Arrive Nice Arrive in Nice, France and meet your Tour Director before transferring to your hotel to begin a 7-Night stay at One Hotel in Nice, the famous city in the French Riviera. Nice is the fourth largest city in France, and a popular destination for vacationers both young and old with something to offer everyone. It is well known for the beautiful views on the Promenade des Anglais, its famous waterfront. This evening enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers.Meal: (D) Overnight: Nice

Day 3: NiceToday enjoy a Nice City Tour featuring the Chagall Museum. Located in the heart of a Mediterranean garden, the museum boasts a permanent exhibition of Chagall’s outstanding paintings, his stained-glass windows which decorate the concert hall and a mosaic that Chagall created especially for the building. Continue and visit the beautiful Notre Dame Church, built between 1864-1868, and the largest church in Nice. Also visit the Nice Flower Market, where for at least a century the open square has been a flower market, but the area has served as a marketplace since the time of the Romans. After time for lunch, depart for Grasse, the perfume capital of the world and enjoy a bit of time to explore this quaint town on your own. Later visit the Fragonard Perfume Factory to discover the secrets of the trade and observe the fascinating art of perfume-making. Return to Nice and enjoy the evening on your own.Meal: (B) Overnight: Nice

Day 4: Ventimiglia - San Remo, ItalyTravel to Ventimiglia, Italy to explore this quaint seaside town. Enjoy time on your own to explore the massive street market or wander the cobbled streets. Continue to San Remo, the capital town of the Italian Riviera. Enjoy some time to explore the old town called La Pigna which is characterized by perched houses, steep streets, covered alleys, and little squares--a glimpse of Medieval times. Later return to Nice and enjoy an evening at leisure.Meal: (B) Overnight: Nice

Day 5: Nice at Leisure - Aix-en-Provence OptionalEnjoy a day at leisure in Nice to relax by the sea or visit a museum. Maybe join the optional excursion to Aix-en-Provence, the city of art and light. Aix is also ancient, the area was a Celtic-Ligurian capital dating to the 3rd century BC. Visit artist Paul Cezanne’s Studio which has been preserved as it was when he died in 1906. Just east of Aix, take a picture of Montagne Ste-Victoire which inspired many of Cezanne’s paintings, 87 in all. During your visit to Aix, enjoy a Wine Tasting from a local vineyard of the region before returning to Nice. Meal: (B) Overnight: Nice

Day 6: Monte Carlo, MonacoToday travel to the principality of Monaco, a tiny city-state on the Mediterranean Sea and surrounded by France. The most famous district of Monaco is Monte Carlo, the site of the well-known casino and a glittering center of international social life. Upon arrival enjoy a Monte Carlo Area Tour including the 19th-century Romanesque Cathedral, the site of Princess Grace’s Tomb. Complete your tour with a visit to the famous Casino Monte Carlo. Tonight enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in the Nice area with your fellow travelers.Meals: (B,D) Overnight: Nice

Day 7: Nice at Leisure - Eze & St. Jean-Cap-Ferrat OptionalEnjoy a full day to explore Nice on your own. Nice itself is an attraction with its rich blue-green sea, diverse shopping, splendid dining and lovely art-deco façades. Maybe join an optional tour and visit Eze, a medieval French village with craft shops and excellent views of the Mediterranean coast. The excursion also features St. Jean-Cap Ferrat, one of the three major capes of the French Riviera and probably the most beautiful. Visit the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, built by Beatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, a wealthy French socialite in the early 1900’s.Meals: (B) Overnight: Nice

Day 8: Antibes, Cannes & St. TropezAfter breakfast, travel to the famous towns of Antibes, Cannes and St. Tropez. Antibes is a quintessential Mediterranean town and a favorite to many of the resident artists of the last centuries as it boasts narrow cobblestone streets and a unique atmosphere. Next, travel to Cannes, a glamorous and expensive seaside town considered to be one of the social hubs of Europe. Its moment to shine arrives in May each year as the venue for the Cannes Film Festival, entertaining the rich and famous. Enjoy some time to sit at street side tables and enjoy the favored hobby of people watching up and down the lovely marina. Later travel to St. Tropez, an internationally known seaside resort, renowned principally be-cause of the influx of artists of the French New Wave and later as a resort for the jet set. St. Tropez is a goal for tourists in search of a little Provençal authenticity, and the occasional celebrity sighting. This evening join your fellow travelers for a Farewell Dinner.
