Objective: Students will design and create a skateboard that rolls down a ramp and can hold a dinosaur.
Skateboard Dinosaur
Science: What other items roll down the ramp?
Technology: Record yourself testing your creation and discuss your results.
Engineering: Create your own skateboard using legos.
ARTs: Draw a picture of your skateboard design.
Math: Measure how far your skateboard rolls.

Can you make a LEGO skateboard for a dinosaur?
Teaching Strategy: 1. Read, “Dinoboarding” and discuss the
features of a skateboard. What makes it roll?
2. Design and build a skateboard using LEGO bricks. Attach a dinosaur to your skateboard.
3. Build a cardboard ramp to test your skateboard.
4. Improve if necessary and discuss with students what worked and didn’t work.
