Save the date for the 5th Annual Spring into Health Community Day! Each year, volunteers from Penn Presbyterian Medical Center gather experts in health and wellness together for a free community health fair in West Philadelphia. In recent years, attendees have received blood pressure and diabetes screenings, HIV testing, nutritional and smoking cessation counseling, pharmaceutical medication review, physical fitness, stress management tips and more. In addition, cultural performances, face painting, light food and giveaways are present throughout the afternoon.

The ongoing partnerships between Penn Medicine, Explorers Sans Frontières (ESF), The People’s Emergency Center, and The Partnership CDC, along with many other local organizations are vital to improving the health and wellness of our community. In recent years, we’ve seen great change in west Philadelphia, but this is only the beginning. Please save the dates and come out for a great time in May!
