How is the Mock Interview process aligned with NAF Academy Standards?

Standard 3.1.b Multidisciplinary projects are the primary vehicle by which NAF course themes are integrated into core subject area content, providing a relevant context for student learning.

Standard 4.1.a A three to four year series of coordinated and sequenced work –based learning experiences such as job shadowing , professional dress opportunities, career fairs, and interview forums guarantee that students are given learning opportunities that build in sophistication, duration, and intensify and ultimately prepares them for compensated internships.

“My experience with the interview yesterday was very interesting and helpful. I learned about how a good resume gets you the interview, and how a successful interview gets you a job offer. Now that I have had the experience of being interviewed I feel I am better prepared on what to do. I feel I will be successful when I go on my first actual interview.” Jazmin Ramirez

Student Experiences

“ I enjoyed presenting Dress for Success to my fellow classmates. It gave me the additional practice needed to be a successful speaker. I will take my academy experiences and use them to help guide me in college.”
