Dear Members and Friends:Registration is now open for PLMA’s 2014Executive Education Program. Developedin conjunction with St. Joseph’s University,the program offers insight into storebrands strategy, retailer-manufacturerrelations, new product development,advertising and marketing, and consumerbehavior. Faculty is drawn from the university aswell as industry and classes combine case studies and interactive educationaltechniques with traditional classroomlectures. It is a unique experience. The Core Curriculum concentrates onfundamentals while the AdvancedCurriculum emphasizes how retailers and manufacturers can work together toachieve mutual success. Now in itsfourteenth year, the program hasgraduated more than 1,200 private labelretailers, manufacturers, brokers and trade suppliers. The next generation of store brands isalready here. Enrollment in PLMA’s ExecutiveEducation Program is open to Associationmembers and guests. Tuition for membersis $950 for the first participant and $850for additional participants from the samecompany until May 1, 2014, and $1,250 for the first participant and $1,150 foradditional participants after May 1, 2014.Non-member tuition is $1,950 perregistrant.

PLMA’s Executive Education Programwas created to fit the needs ofmanufacturers, retailers, wholesalers and brokers. Classes are aimed atmanagement, sales, marketing, andcategory decision-makers. It is perfect for those who are involved in store brandsfor the first time or those who want amore thorough understanding of the latest trends and developments.

University and Hotel Information

All classes are held on the campusof St. Joseph's University, which is located at 5600 City Avenue,Philadelphia, approximately 30 minutes from PhiladelphiaInternational Airport and 15 minutes from Amtrak 30thStreet Station. By car, the campusis easily accessible from I-95 and I-76. Hotel accommodations areavailable at the Hilton PhiladelphiaCity Avenue, which is a mile fromthe campus. Special conferencerates are in effect. Hotelreservation information will be sentto all registrants upon enrollment.
