WHAT IS PARCC?•A group of states collaborating to develop a set of assessments that will measure whether students are on track to be successful in college and their careers. •High quality, computer-based K–12 assessments in Mathematics and ELA/Literacy that will inform teachers, schools, students, and parents as to whether students’ are on track in their learning. •PARCC assessments will be ready for states to administer during the 2014-15 school year.

• Performance-Based Assessment (PBA)

Administered in Spring after 70% of content

• End of Year (EOY) Administered in late Spring; after 90% of content

• Use of Technology- PC/iPads with wireless keyboards, headphones/ear phones, testing will take place over a 20-day range rotating classes.
