And nature was just there to remind me that lt wasan extraordinary experience and I came back home healed. I realized that life could beso beautiful in even its tiniest pieces and that I should try to enjoy it as much aspossible... feeling blue was definitely not the way to do it.I still do a lot of climbing and I still remember that feeling.

Until one day when my momarrived home very upset from her job and when she entered my room and saw the messinside couldn't bear it anymore and took all the clothes piled on my computer keyboardand the rest of my desk and just threw them out of the windowI couldn't believe my eyes | immediately ran downstairs to pick them up, but not all ofihem had got on the ground: a lot had remained clinging on the branches of trees in frontof my block. I managed to take them out of there by borrowing a fishing rod from mygirlfriend's father, but I had to stay at my window "fishing" them one by one while my

friends, my girlfriend and the neighbours ... at their windows ... were making fun of meand were giving me "directions" on how to catch my "fish".When she came home, I apologized for all times I ignored her words and promised I'dchange. Enjoying the status of developed country implies that many economic sectors have been

developed to meet certain standards: ihe finances, the quality of life' technology and

communication, tourism, political relations and the list can continue' But none of them is

possible without a civilrsed population. And in my opinion, this can be attained only

through education.

First of all, what a developing country really needs are good specialists in as many fields

as possible. Without them ind without valuable knowledge on how to handle different

new situations and how to improve the existing ones, development is not possible. And

you cannot have such specialists without proper education'

Secondly, living in a developed country also means that its population has a high living

standard and high morals. They should be happy with the way they live, but also wishing

for the better. Averagepeople with average aspirations will only lead the country to an

average type of O"uLtLpt"nt, not proficiency. Consequently, the population's self-

awareness and impetus for self-development are needed, and it is only education that can

trigger them.

Third|y, no matier how developed a country may be at some point, this |eve| can't be

maintarned if people don't have it as a purpose and make efforts towards it' Development

is a process of continual change and so mentality and knowledge should change' too'

There is no other way to do it except by educating generation after generation'

To conclude with, I strongly believe that education is the most important factor in a

country's development. ltis the only means of drawing allthe forces involved together

so that they can function better and better'

People's memory is a tricky thing, from rny point of view. We tend to remember whatsurprised us, what really impressed us, what is out of the ordinary, and all these dependon each person's receptiveness. This is why I agree with the idea that we rememberbest the people who broke the rules and that's because they don't resemble the majority.

Moreover, the act of remembering is closely connected to a sort of rule breaking. Thereare many types of rules and we shouldn'i forget the differences between them. There aresocial and judiciary rules, also called laws, there are different types of regulationsspecially made for people's protection, but there are also a lot of superstitions and rulesof the so-called etiquette that tend to be broken more often than the others.

lf I had to talk about each of them, I'd say that those who break the first category of rules,the criminals, are better remembered especially because of the media. If the journalistsweren't creating a sort of magic around them, people wouldn't care so much.

As for the second category, those who don't obey the security rules will definitely pay andwe remember them as lessons of what we mustn't do and the price of carelessness.

The third category remains in the collective memory because of gossip. The moreoutrageous the things sorneone does, the more he or she will stick in our mind either asan example to make fun of or worthy of our admiration.

On the other hand, breaking a rule may not be such a surprise in the future as it used tobe in the past. lt seems that nowadays people are actually taking part in some sort of raceof who breaks more rules. In the future, a person who actually obeys the rules will probablybe a rarity and the paradox is that we'll remember them because they broke the rule ofbreaking rules.

In the end, I'd like to say that too nruch importance is placed on what people remember.I for one forget things very easily and it's not because I don't care, but because very oftenI am tired and I am trying to learn what is important for me as a person and for my futurecareer. There is too much information around and everyone tends to talk about the latestnews only. So I'm asking, what's wrong with something old every now and then?
