More customers. Your store’s temperature needs to be comfortable. Set your programmable thermostats for the waves of people shopping early if your store is opening earlier than usual.
More employees in the warehouse or backroom. If you’re bringing in additional staff, heat the space where people are, not unused space in your building.
The sun isn’t up but the shoppers are! Be mindful of using lights for your displays and make your parking lots safe. Switch to LED lighting where possible, as LED lights last longer and use less energy.
Doors will be opening and closing a lot, so encourage employees working near entrance and exit doors to dress appropriately.
Natural gas is there when you need it to helpkeep your customers and business comfortable.
