Student Learning
Team Wonderland have been doing some hands-on activities and exploring throughout their Mathematics learning. Kindergarten students sorted and graphed different jellybean colours when learning about data. Year 1 and 2 students explored the terminology of chance by deciding which colours were likely, unlikely, certain and impossible to select from their collection.
Team Two have been learning about Persuasive arguments this term. This week we created a persuasive advertisement, where each group had to come up with a creative way to sell a pen. Students used Imovie trailers to sell their pen to the class using persuasive language and visuals.

Multicultural Public Speaking
In Team 3, students have been learning about the properties of Angles and how to correctly measure them using a protractor. Students then applied their developed knowledge into a visual artwork using bold colours and lines.
On Wednesday four students competed in the Multicultural Public Speaking competition held at Cootamundra Public School. Students presented their prepared speeches and then were given a topic and had to deliver an impromptu speech to the audience. Emmerson, Indiannah, Jarrah and Halle demonstrated our school values and were perfect representatives for EA Southee Public School.

PBL Vox Pop
Beau and Jamey. In the hall it is really
important to be respectful at all times.
Catalina and Anna were able to discuss the expectations of Respect,
Responsibility and Resilience at the canteen and said that they always
say please and thank you!
During the cold weather, we have been spending a little bit of time in the hall. During this time, we have been able to revisit the expectations and values in both the hall and at the canteen.
