ColombiaFactors that increase women's negotiating power
1. Demonstrative effect of a successfull business*
2. Increase in income
4. Knowledge on behalf of men as to how to carry out household tasks (proffesionally) **
3. Self-awareness/ Self-esteem that it is fair and possible to renegotiate

ColombiaReflexions about factors that increase women´s negotiating power
1. Women have decided not to renegotiate in all areas or spheres. They evaluate the viability, ability and the willingness of other family members in the home to take on other roles and tasks. Some renegotiate only in tasks related to the farm.
2. Some changes relate to ADAPTATION rather than NEGOTIATION. As women are absent in the home, family members take on in a “spontaneous manner” some tasks associated with the “survival” of the home.
