God’s Plan: A Mother’s Journey

Dear Friends,

God is with us in this life saving God is with us in this life saving mission. You and I are answering His call to “choose life” (Deuteronomy 30:19) by offering women and couples a life-affirming alternative to abortion. Our faith in the Lord compels us to save more children from the threat of abortion, because from the threat of abortion, because every human life is endowed with dignity and created in the image of God.

These challenging times ll me with two emotions. The rst is a strong sense of purpose. We have an incredible mission of love and a powerful calling to reach out with hope and support to those facing an unplanned pregnancy. The second is gratitude for every mother, father and gratitude for every mother, father and child whose lives we’ve touched through this ministry. I am grateful also for you, our partners, who care enough to put your faith into action.

Abortion is not health care. Abortion is the murder of unwanted children. Protecting the unborn is the greatest issue of our time. It’s the responsibility of everyone, especially people of faith, to protect and defend those who have no voice or ability to defend themselves. This newsletter contains themselves. This newsletter contains a powerful story of faith and opportunities to put your faith into action. You will also learn about fetal development and how science is our powerful pro-life ally.

Together, may we be a strong voice for the unborn so more will come to know the irrefutable truth that a pregnancy equals a unique person who is part of God’s divine plan. May God bless and guide you this Easter season!

I was 4 months pregnant when, at my regular checkup, my doctor told me my baby had uid in the brain and suggested I have an abortion because the pregnancy was not going to last. I was devastated. I did not want to have an abortion. Later that day, I saw a sign for the Pregnancy Care Center and I knew I needed to talk to someone. My Advocate listened and we prayed together, which lled me with hope. For the rst time, I felt I had people on my side and I decided to keep my baby.

Each time I went to the doctor’s office, they would recommend abortion. In the Each time I went to the doctor’s office, they would recommend abortion. In the ultrasound, I could see my baby’s face and she was beautiful. At my last doctor’s visit, I asked the nurse what I should bring to the hospital. She told me not to bring anything because my baby would not live long after delivery. Yet I refused to give up hope. I think everyone at the PCC was praying for me and my daughter. I know it was their support and the prayers that kept me going.

When I had my baby, her head was not big or deformed like the doctors had When I had my baby, her head was not big or deformed like the doctors had warned. She was beautiful! What a blessing! She did have some uid on the brain but it was not much. The doctors and nurses were shocked. The doctors had tried convincing me this day would never happen and here she was in my arms.

The Pregnancy Care Center is different; there is love here. There are other places The Pregnancy Care Center is different; there is love here. There are other places to get things for your baby, but that’s not the important part. I needed people who would support me and my baby and lift us up in prayer. When I think of my time there I tear up. It really helped shape me and I know I can do anything.

The Patient in the Womb

Birth is one day in the life of child who is already nine months old. Helping a woman understand the development of the growing life inside her is a foundational piece of our educational program. Through this process, women and couples learn to love their child. We help them see this new life as something to be valued and protected, not discarded for convenience.
