– Italians: 80.000; Foreigners: 41.000 (34%) – ETOPFA: 5,0 per 1,000 = <> 3.000

• Total prevalence of:– Premature births 6,7% – Congenital malformations: 3%

• Neural tube defects: 1.0 per 1,000• Mortality

– Infant (0-1 y): 3.7 per 1,000
