The 2015 Pre-Sale Campaign is set to be one of our best years ever and I am ready to see

you take this program to the next level! With new packages and new opportunities

available you shouldn’t have any trouble selling for any of our great events all the while

earning cash incentives!

With Ron Knowles as Chairman and Debbie Parker as Vice-Chair, you have some great

leadership to turn to – not to mention the 20 team captains that have stepped up to the plate

to steer you to success!

When you are out there selling remember these 5 facts about the Extraco Events Center and

the events we host:

We are a non-profit 501c(3) organization.

All of our events benefit the youth of McLennan County and surrounding areas

through the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo Scholarship Program; to date we have

given away over $1 million in Educational Scholarships. And over $2.5 million in

total scholarships

The annual attendance for the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo exceeds 190,000.

The Extraco Events Center is host to over 225 events annually.

The Extraco Events Center has an economic impact of over $47 million annually.

Make plans now to attend the biggest, coolest, hottest party of the summer – the 20th Annual Margarita & Salsa Festival to

be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Extraco Events Center in Waco. All proceeds benefit the Scholarship Program

at the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo. This is one of the larger music events on the Waco calendar with an average of

10,000 attendees and a summer-sendoff for thousands before college classes begin. So if you dig margaritas and Texas

The RAM Texas Circuit Finals Rodeo is a three-day event from December 31 – January 2 at the Extraco Events Center.

This rodeo brings the top 12 cowboys and cowgirls in each of the seven Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association events

to compete for top honors. Thousands of rodeo enthusiasts enjoy seven rodeo events along with the fan favorite ‘Mutton

Bustin’ every night. The RAM Rodeo Series has been a staple of professional rodeo for over three decades. The

South 40 Trail & Outdoor Expo

March 2016

The South 40 Expo Committee was formed to produce a multi-part event for education, entertainment and agricultural

experiences. First, the South 40 Trail is a one-of-a-kind, four-stop fishing tournament that produces a fun, competitive

environment that allows Central Texans to enjoy the outdoors. Secondly, the South 40 Outdoor Expo is an event for the

whole family, and home to the championship round of the South 40 Trail. It also offers an entertaining and educational

look at everything to do with the outdoors, all while giving back to the youth of Central Texas. The committee has raised

over $100,000 to provide scholarships for the youth of McLennan County and the surrounding areas.

What is Sneak-A-Peek? o Sneak-A-Peek takes place on the first Thursday night of the Fair. The carnival area and outside vendor

booths are open, there is not a Rodeo. Gate admission is only $5; Carnival rides are only $1 each.

What if I want to customize my package? o Items listed in this catalog are the only items available through the Pre-Sale. If someone would like to

purchase something not listed, volunteers must turn the sale over to the H.O.T. Fair Offices.

How much does the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo give away in scholarships each year? o Over $250,000 is given to livestock show participants and high school graduates from McLennan and

surrounding counties.

When can I pick up my sold packages? o A Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo staff member will contact the volunteer when the package is ready for

pick up.

When and where do I send my ad information? o Please send your electronic art/ad file to Charva Ingram [email protected] on or before Wednesday,

August 26th at 5 p.m. If your ad is not received by Thursday, September 4

th the purchaser forfeits the

opportunity to place an ad in the Rodeo Program and no money will be refunded. Please send all artwork as

a high resolution PDF. Note: If artwork has to be designed in-house, a $75 service fee will be charged. All

artwork designed in-house becomes property of the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo.

Do I get to pick my reserved and/or box seats for the Rodeo? o Tickets will be assigned to the best available seats at the time the order is filled.

When will I receive the Back Porch Club Memberships I sold? o Back Porch Club Memberships are sent directly to the person who purchased them two weeks prior

to the Fair.

When will I receive the Calf Scramble Packages I sold? o Calf Scramble packages are sent directly to the person who purchased them two weeks prior to the Fair.

Are my reserved and/or box seats going to be in the same place each night? o Your reserved and/or box seats are subject to change each night. Seat location will be printed on each night’s

ticket.

Will my reserved and/or box seats be next to each other? o Yes. As long as they are ordered on the same order form.

INCENTIVES FOR SELLERS

Campaign Rewards

The Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo will recognize all sellers for their hard work in the Pre-Sale Campaign.

o The bimonthly campaign e-newsletter will include current team totals, top sellers and top teams.

o Cash awards will be presented at each Campaign Rally.

o Every seller and spouse/guest will be invited to the Victory Celebration at the conclusion of the campaign.

o Top sellers may qualify for the Campaign Planning Retreat in the Spring of 2016.

o The “Thank You Edition” of the campaign e-newsletter will recognize all teams, team captains and volunteers. It

will feature pictures and results and will be sent to over 500 recipients.

Incentive Program

Volunteers have the opportunity to choose one of three great Campaign incentive programs – cash incentives, a campaign

trip, or donation. All three can be earned throughout the Campaign and are based on cash sales. Each volunteer will have

the option to choose which incentive program they would like to participate in.

Cash Incentives Option – will be presented as they are earned at the campaign rallies.

Campaign Trip Option – volunteers may qualify for the campaign trip for their sales in Category 1 as listed on

page 37.

Donate to Scholarship Fund – incentives earned throughout the program will be donated to the Heart O’ Texas

Fair & Rodeo Scholarship Fund on your behalf.

Please note: o If you are working toward the trip and do not meet the goal or you earn the trip and are unable to attend, you will

be awarded based of Cash incentive options schedule.

o Cash incentives/donations will be calculated based on orders turned in on or before Friday, September 11th.

Orders received after the incentive deadline will not be counted towards your incentive/donation credit.

Teams Captains Leadership is eligible for incentives, cash or donation, when their team goals are met or if they too meet the requirements

for cash sales.

Things to Remember

o Cash Incentives and/or Campaign Planning Retreat are non-transferable.

o Pay close attention to those listed on the protected lists, as they cannot be contacted without prior approval. If you

o Only the items sold during the duration of the 2015 Pre-Sale Campaign will count towards the Cash Incentive

Program or the Campaign Planning Retreat.

o Only the items listed on the order form are for sale; there will be no substitutions allowed.

You will be credited for checks, cash or credit card purchases turned in with a completed order form. The amount

turned in must equal the total sale.

Credit will not be issued for declined credit cards. If an order form is submitted with the request to call for credit card

information, credit will not be given until credit card information is received and processed.

If a check is returned NSF, the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo reserves the right to adjust a committeeman’s sales total

and may request incentives already distributed for sale to be returned, if payment is not received from the customer.

A 1099 Form will be issued for all awards over $600.

TEAM CAPTAINS Category 2 Incentives

Team Captains are eligible for the following incentives when their team goal is met.

A. Meeting Team Goal

2.0% of Total Team Production in Category No. 1

A 1099 Form will be issued for all awards over $600.
