PRE REQUIREMENT DOCUMENTATION

INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this functional requirements document is to provide a general framework for a more

detailed set of procedures typically required to operate web sites. The extent to which a more detailedset of procedures will be required for each web site is dependent upon the complexity and operatingparameters of that web site. This document include the functionality of the website, including targetaudience, e-learning portal feature to be implemented and to make the necessary changes and upgradation required by the client. This documentation is the assumed plan up for the features expectedform the client as per his/her requirement and is open for their addition and changes.

DATA CONTRIBUTERS OR EXPERT PANELS

To add content and resources to the websites through contributors or expert panel require the type ofauthentication and authorization provided to the contributors. The number and types should bedependent upon the potential number of data providers, whether the database will be local, state,

regional, national or global, and the extent of quality control of the data.Clients Addition: .

To help ensure data quality and security, each data provider should be given a password, automaticallygenerated by the system. Data providers must use their passwords to gain access to their records. Useof a password ensures that unauthorized persons will not be able to alter information about content. At

any time, data providers should be able to return to the web site to modify or update the informationthey have submitted. Data providers should be required to return to the site on a routine basis, such as,at least once every six months to keep records current.

Mass Upload: This method will include the uploading of content of the data with excel or xml format,the content has to be updated in the predefined excel sheet and the can be uploaded directly to fill thedatabase.

One time High Quality Upload : It include selecting each content and uploading in highly customizedmanner.

A brief comparison:

If a question (the content specified by client) need to be uploaded has a different types of data like text,images , functions it is recommended that to maintain the quality it has to be uploaded manually throughcustomized editors.

If the data only contains simple text (varchars, numeric and digits) it is recommended to use bulk uploadthe pre-formatted file system.
