Idea 1 Title: Stay away. Tagline: Go there once and get haunted never come back. Brief synopsis of plot of whole film: Two boys go to a brook in the night. There

is a small stream. The hear a splash in the water and see a dead body of a boy. They get scared and start to run one of them is caught by something. The other run’s to his house and is in his room panicking when he hears footsteps and then is killed. 1 year later 4 boys go in the brook on Halloween and get killed one by one. Only one survives and runs into a church. Goes to the priest and the priest tells him that there is a supernatural being that is very violent after him. He does some things and the supernatural being goes away. The Boy goes home and he is in his room and the light turns off. He hears footsteps and then he is dead.

Main characters: Sam, Pete, Len and matt. Opening settings/ locations: The brook. A church. A house. A stream. Characters involved in opening: Max, James and tony. Description of opening characters: Max and James are like bad boys messing

about. They were supposed to meet their friend Tony but he had been killed by something.

Costumes and props: The characters are just in their normal cloths. No props needed.

Potential problems: Need a church to do the last scene in, a house and a priest.

Idea 2 Title: Help Brief synopsis of plot of whole film: Some children get rude to a school

character and the next day he locks them in the school. They can’t get out because the windows have grills on them and the doors are locked. They walk around and start hearing noises. Then one of them goes to the toilet and is killed. They all start getting killed. Then the remaining two barricade themselves in one of the rooms. The nest day they wake up and find a man sating at them. They ask who he is and he tells them that he the character of the school. They tell him about the other character and he laughs and says that is my brother, he died 10 years ago.

Main characters: Eddy, Jacob, Sweetie, Harvey and Smiley. Opening settings/locations: In the school and just outside the school. Characters involved in opening: Eddy, Jacob, Sweetie, Harvey, Smiley and the

character. Description of opening characters: Eddy and Jacob are strong but Harvey is

one of those characters that is sort of a nerd. He also likes one of the girls. But at the moment they get trapped in the school he the one who acts cool and calm. The girls are scared and just a little bit frightened.

Costumes and props: We just need some fake blood. Potential problems: We need to be allowed in the school and film in the school.

Idea 3 Title: The fudge Tagline: One two the fudge is coming for you. Brief synopsis of plot of whole film: A women is making fudge for a family dinner.

She makes desert, a bowl of fudge but when she turns around a fly covered in toxic acid comes and sits on the fudge and then flies away. When the women turn around the fudge is moving and starts to grow to about 4 feet. She runs out of the house and the goes around eating and destroying thing and it is also getting bigger. In the end they find a way to destroy it. A scientist makes a device that can remove the acid from the fudge and as soon as he dose that the military open fire and the fudge dies. But then later you see a 1 cm long piece of fudge on the floor and it moves.

Main characters: Fred, Sarah, Sergeant bill, Professor Albert and Jimmy. Opening settings/ locations: A house. The city. A Lab. Characters involved in opening: Jenny, Fred, Sarah. Description of opening characters: Jenny is making a dinner so a family of 14

people. She is a very busy woman and is aged around 25 to 35. Fred and Sarah are friends but don’t get to see each other. Sarah is quite popular where Fred is nerdy and also really smart.

Costumes and props: Need army costumes and other average cloths. Lab outfit and a lot army equipment e.g. guns and other weapons.

Potential problems: Need a lab, army people and weapons, a house for the beginning scene. A place in the city where there are not that many people.

Potential problems?

Why Chosen? Because is the best one out of all three. Also the other ones the

fudge and help are more difficult to make because for the fudge you are going to need a big budget and for Help you are going to need to be allowed in school at night have a caretaker ghost (so need older man around 50 required). Plus the effects for help will take a lot more time and money.

Need a church to do the last scene in, a house and a priest. Also because the movie is set at night it is going to be difficult filming also need an actor to fall in the brook river but we could use a fake dummy. Going to need two bikes for the first scene.

Story Board

What is good about the story Board

The story board clearly shows what is happening in the movie.

Script Title: Stay away EXT. BROOK. NIGHT Long shot from behind we see two boys, DANNY and JOHN cycling towards the BROOK. The

camera pans to follow them and then the boys stop as does the camera to show a M.S of them get off their bikes. We can hear the sounds of the boys breathing heavily as they are cycling and when the bikes stop, the sound of them falling on the ground and the BOYS LAUGHING together.

JOHN (nervously) Are you sure he is going to be here? DANNY (annoyed) Yes man don’t shit your pants. The BOYS jump over the metal bars. Hear night sounds around them. They began walking

forward. JOHN (scared) See I told you he is not going to be here. Let’s just go back home. Suddenly there is a splash in the water. DANNY (shocked) what the hell was that? Both BOYS look towards the water and see a dead body. DANNY (shocked/frightened) Holly Shit that’s randy. JOHN (Scared) Le let’s just get o out of here. Both BOYS start to run back towards the entrance but JOHN is killed by something. We see his

dead body on the floor and then a close up shot off his face. DANNY runs towards his house and opens the door.

INT. HOUSE. NIGHT There is no one at home he runs upstairs and runs into his room. He is really scared. He is

finally asleep and we see a close up off the clock it shows 12. The light turns off and the camera goes into darkness and we here a scream.

Script continued EXT. BROOK. NIGHT A 1 year later sign comes up and 5 teenagers LISA, MAT, JACOB, TREY and SAM are outside the brook.

It is Halloween night and they are talking the two girls LISA and SAM look scared sort off. MAT (annoyed) don’t tell me your going to chicken out. LISA (scared) you heard what happened here last year on Halloween about those two boys. JACOB (serious) come on LIZ you don’t believe any off that crap. What happened last year was just

some freak accident. The two boys fell into the water and could not get out. SAM (loudly) people say they were killed. MAT (annoyed) whatever you lot say I am still going, you can come or go home. THEY all look at each other and nod. We see a medium shot off them. Then a close up off MAT. MAT (confident) let’s go then. They all climb over the metal bars one by one. They all start walking together SAM turns around and see someone or something. She screams and

goes and hugs TREY. SAM (terrified) TREY there is someone there. The group stop walking and turn around MAT and TREY walk towards the place where SAM was

pointing. MAT pulls out a knife and TREY pulls out a chain. BOTH boys advance but there is no one there.

LISA (scared) why we are here anyway. TREY (sarcastic) uuuhh let me think because it is Halloween and what could be scarier than going to

a brook where two guys died. They began walking forward the girls in the middle we see a long shot of them walking. JACOB turns

around. JACOB (angry) hey TREY where are you.

Script continued No answer. JACOB (scared) Yo trey I am serious this is no time to joke around I will bang you up if

you don’t come out. I will count to three. 1. 2. 3. ON 3 COME is front of them and falls to the floor. His neck split open we see a close up of the blood dripping down his neck. Everyone else starts to run but then we here scream from behind and see the two girls dead on the floor. Close up of their faces are seen. Both the boys start to run but JACOB trips and then we here a scream and see JACOBS’s dead body on the floor. MAT jumps over the metal bars and starts to run we see a M.S. of him running. Then we see a church come into view.

INT. CHURCH. NIGHT We see MAT run into the church and he runs up to the priest. The priest knows what

has happened. PRIEST (loudly) no one can live if they go to the brook on Halloween night. MAT begs the priest to help him so the priest dose. He does a special ritual that makes

him safe from the BROOK. MAT then thanks the priest goes home and he is in his bedroom and the lights turn off and we here a scream.

The end.      

What is good about the Script?

The script is written properly and with each thing one of the character’s say it describes how they say it e.g. Sam (loudly) People say they were killed. It is also good because of the horror elements like lots of deaths caused by a angry sprit. Creepy setting like the brook at night and also it is set of Halloween the most horrific and scariest day of the year.

The bits that need to be improved are the script needs to be a little bit longer. More information in it the where are the shots going to taken from.

Budget

Nothing that important just need people to come there for an hour or 2 film the night scene and the next day film the day scene. Food people if hungry bring something with them or go shop which is 5 to 10 minutes away. Make up don’t need that much. Up to 10 to 15 pounds.

Health and safty

Need to be extra careful when shooting in the brook because it is going to be at night. When in some of the scenes there is running need to be careful or could get hurt. Need to be careful in the dark. Be careful with the equipment. Someone is going to have to set the dummy up and put it in the water that will be tricky but other then that it should be okay.

Pitch

You should buy this production because even though it is a low budget it will be a success. There is not that many props needed and the shooting locations are really good as well and close to the school. There are a lot of horror elements just what a good horror movie needs and there is not that big of a cast. The script is perfect and all of it at a very low cost.
