would the fonts fit with codes

and conventions of

Pop magazines?

Insider scoop on the wedding of ADABELLE and ELIJAH: The font used in the magazine quite simple, but also bold at the same time. By enlarging the font, it easily attracts the attention of consumers. Proving that sometimes a simple font is as effective as an extravagant font; in attracting audience curiosity. For puff I would like the writing to be of different colours. Mostly black, but with red or purple to high the important words, like ADABELLE, and grab the audience’s attention.

Singers try to cook for charoty.: The font use in the magazine looks like it was written with markers. This suggests that the magazine is aimed at a younger age than 18. Also the word ‘now’ is in a different colour and

in capital. This is done to grab the attention of its target audience. I like the font that I created and I think I could use it for my magazine. Although I would use a different colour in my magazine.

LEAP: The font used in the magazine is quite hip and young but at the same time not childish. This could signify that the magazine is aimed at a more mature target audience of teens. Additionally the word ‘smashhits!’ is coloured in with two different colours. The magazine used the title and one of the main ways, to attract the interest of its audience. For the magazine name I wanted to ty different types of fonts. The fonts I tried are good, but they are not quite what I wanted. So instead I’m going to experiment until I find the font I like, for my magazine.

RORA quits Glam life for Starving kids in Africa: The font used for the name ‘Ed Sheeran’ is a bit formal but also modern. This could be used to show the importance of the

artist. Also his name is written in red. Red is a bight eye-catching colour and by using it the magazine is making sure that, it’s magazine will grip the audience’s attention. The fonts I use are quite nice and they are good at attracting attention, since they are different form the normal fonts. Although I still feel that they are not quite right for my magazine.

Cover Stories: The font used for the word ‘lifestyle’ is quite simplistic. It allows the magazine to use other font (or pictures) that may be extravagant to attract the attention of the audience. At the same time though the colour used, focuses the concentration of the audience to that section of the page. I think the font that I have tested is actually quite nice, for it is different but not extravagant. It gives the magazine more class and maturity, whilst still keeping the audience engaged.

The fonts used in the magazine looks

quite casual and informal, but still interesting to the audience. Also the change in colour from purple to pink, for the part of the sentence: ‘I’m not dating’: engages the interest of its target audience. The fonts I have used are very eye catching and will definitely attract the audience’s attention. The only thing I would do is make the words in capital of a different colour. This will captivate the audience’s attention even more.
