1936 - Incorporation of The Associated Cement Companies Limited on August 1, 1936

1947 - India’s first entirely indigenous cement plant established at Chaibasa in Bihar

1957 - Technical training institute established at Kymore, Madhya Pradesh

1965 - ACC’s Central Research Station (CRS) established at Thane

1979 - ACC wins international contract for operation and management of a new 1 MT cement plant at Yanbu-Ras Biridi in Saudi Arabia

1982 - Commissioning of the first 1 MTPA plant in the country at Wadi, Karnataka

1992 - Incorporation of Bulk Cement Corporation of India, a joint venture with the Government of India

POWER PLANT

Monitoring & controlling the performance of the power plant and supply of power in the shifts Executing the running maintenance tasks and shut down maintenance tasks of power plant in shifts Maintain data regarding cost of power generation Preparing breakdown analysis reports and analysis Report preparation and record keeping on daily operation & maintenance activities in power plant Compliance to company OH&S policies, principles, procedures and practices

CCR OPERATION (Chemical / Cement Technology)

Manage the production operation & solving production related problems Planning, scheduling & execution of planned, unplanned maintenance tasks Solving equipment functioning problems and ensuring steady availability Optimization of fuel efficiency, power consumption & overall cost of production Implementation of new methods / modifications /process changes for cost reduction
