General Notes • Start of each session with salaam, ta’awuz, tasmiyyah
and durood shareef collectively as a group.
• Bring along items to madrasah to stimulate discussion around a topic.eg. Soap, toothbrush, miswaak, etc. related to personal hygiene, or scarf/topi etc.
• Keep on refreshing and revising previous lessons.
• Try to keep lessons as realistic as possible. (e.g. Your mother has given you a chocolate. Do you throw your wrapper on the floor or in the bin?
General Notes • Surahs and Duas have to be drilled. Repetition is very
important. Teach one aayah at a time with emphasis on tajweed and correct pronunciation.
• Some activities will have to be introduced by the teacher. Practical activities are also very important.
• Mu’allimahs guide can be purchased separately. However not yet printed. Anyone wishing to have the teacher’s guide may request it from the Ta’limi Board and a PDF copy will be emailed to you, Insha Allah.
• First edition. Please make note of the mistakes and also please forward your valuable suggestions.
General Notes • Time for teaching Pre-Madrasah classes is generally 1
hour 15 minutes. Divide your time in such a way that all the work is covered. One can use the following timetable as a guide.
