Three Sisters Design Three Sisters Design ConsiderationsConsiderationsOver the last 2 years, many designs were considered, and eliminated:

•A bridge would be required to maintain and construct a single weir.

•Each waterway has a different elevation and flow rate.

•The stilling basin before the culverts under I-95 attenuates and reduces water velocities.

•The proposed design has been permitted by the SJRWMD.

•A new design would require withdrawal of the PDM Grant application.

•With new design elevations, the new permit would require stormwater and groundwater modeling.
