Pre-Brochure
WELCOME TO A NEW ERA IN LIMB SALVAGECritical limb ischemia (CLI) is the most severe form of peripheral arteri-al disease and is associated with high rates of limb loss, morbidity and mortality. Nearly 50% of patients diagnosed with CLI will eventually progress to major amputation, and 25% of those patients will survive less than one year.
Promising evidence now exists for limb salvage patients who previ-ously had no options. With the development of new technologies and “endovascular-first” approaches, amputation should be considered the last resort for CLI patients.
The Amputation Prevention Symposium (AMP) fills a crucial need as the largest medical conference dedicated solely to the treatment and prevention of CLI and amputations related to CLI.
Led by Course Director Jihad A. Mustapha, MD, a renowned educator and author in the field of interventional cardiology, the event serves as a forum to connect clinicians – interventional cardiologists and interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, wound care specialists, and podiatrists – with the foremost experts in CLI to gain knowledge on the latest advances in revascularization and learn from one another.
Come to AMP in August and welcome a new era in limb salvage. Register today: AMPTHECLIMEETING.COM

MEET THE CLI THOUGHT LEADERS: AMP FACULTY
This is our sixth year exhibiting at AMP — we have been with AMP
since its inception and have witnessed the impressive growth
of the event. The educational program is phenomenal and the
audience is focused on and dedicated to CLI amputation
prevention. This is a great platform to share information
and spend time with customers who share the same passion we do.

ACCREDITATION INFORMATION
INTENDED LEARNERSThis conference is designed for interventional cardiologists, vas-cular surgeons, interventional radiologists, wound care specialists, podiatrists, nurses, vascular technologists, and cardiovascular cath-eterization laboratory team members.
LEARNING OBJECTIVESUpon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:• Apply comprehensive, multidisciplinary best practice approach
for patients with advanced peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and critical limb ischemia (CLI) at risk for major Amputation.
• Describe the role of atherectomy in CLI and its application in Am-putation prevention.
• Treat complex chronic total occlusions in tibial and pedal arterial vessels in the CLI patient.
• Describe arterial angiosome anatomy in conjunction with cutane-ous and ultrasonic angiosome mapping in patients with advanced tibio-pedal arterial disease at risk for major Amputation.
• Implement procedural and technological advances in wound care practices for patients facing major Amputation due to PAD and advanced non-healing wounds and gangrene.
• Describe the minor surgical approach to limb salvage post-re-vascularization for patients with advanced PAD at risk for major Amputation.
• Identify the components necessary to build a multi-disciplinary Amputation prevention program at their institution.
• Implement a diagnostic algorithm including selective angiogra-phy as a critical step for patients with severe PAD who are at risk for Amputation.
• Incorporate advanced tibio-pedal access in combination with an-tegrade access in limb salvage procedures.
• Utilize digital branch access during critical limb ischemia inter-ventions.
• Implement transcollateral interventions in below-the-knee and below-the-ankle interventions.
• Describe tips and tricks for safe and effective endovascular treat-ment of CLI from access to closure.
