Each year, most peer support schemes make a booklet

that gets given to first year students starting their

course in September.

There are two parts that make up the pre-arrival

guides: the front cover, and the inside content.

The front covers are designed by you from templates

given to us by PwC. They then make the front covers

and print them off.

The inside material is completely designed and by

your scheme.

You can also think about having your guide online in

addition to, or instead of, printing the guides.

The first step is to talk to your staff coordinator to find

out what the process for the guides was last year. De-

pending on the scheme, they will either ask us to print

the inside material, or they will print it off themselves.

All the content produced by your scheme needs to be

checked by your staff coordinator.

If Peer Support is printing the inside content, the

deadline for submission is the 6th July at the latest.

This means that it must be produced, checked by your

staff coordinator and then sent to Peer Support by this

date.

If your scheme is printing the inside content, we will

arrange for the front covers to be delivered to you

when they arrive.

The front cover gets produced by PwC. We will pro-

vide you with a number of templates which you will

add some text and images to before it gets produced

and printed by PwC.

The first step will be to fill out the form that Peer Sup-

port will send you. You will be asked to pick which

template you want, and what pictures and text you

want on it.

Around a month after you submit your form, you will

receive the designed front cover and will be asked

what alterations you want made. This process can

happen up to twice to in order to get the best front

cover.
