Linkabit
L3 Linkabit’s PRD-13(V)3 manpackable Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) capability incorporates sophisticated RF intercept
and Direction-Finding (DF) processing capabilities in an intuitive and functional package. The PRD-13(V)3 system
provides a low-power, lightweight, ruggedized, versatile and scalable capability to support decisive actions.
Directed and general search modes operate together to acquire Signals of Interest and provide simultaneously SA to
detect, provide AoA and characterize new potential targets. This capability delivers tactical and long-term strategic
advantages on the battlefield.
KEY BENEFITS
• Software-defined tactical collection and DF are used
for ground, airborne and maritime SIGINT operations
• IP-based – ability to support networking and remote
control of multiple units
• Three RF channel design provides for simultaneous
collection, scan, DF and monitor
• Low SWaP – the entire system can be carried and
operated by one operator
Signal Threats Are Characterized by a Versatile and User-Friendly Solution

PRD-13(V)3 TACTICAL SIGINT SYSTEM
Today’s warfighter is faced with numerous
complex distributed threats which vary from day
to day. Enemy communications affect outcomes
on the battlefield in real time and have real
consequences.
The PRD-13(V)3 system can scan large segments
of bandwidth and quickly characterize the RF
environment. It provides increased Situational
Awareness (SA) and the ability to search the RF
spectrum on a continuous basis without placing
added burden on SIGINT operators.
For PRD-13(V)3 On-The-March (OTM) operations,
an additional Android-based handheld controller
provides system control via a tethered cable
connection or wireless network. The complete
OTM system fits onto a lightweight frame within a
customized rucksack.

FEATURES
• The MD-407A Receiver/Processor
offers the capabilities to scan 10 MHz
instantaneously to perform detection,
Direction-Finding (DF), and demodulation
of SOIs
• Operator-selectable “Coarse” or “Fine”
DF capability to vary time vs accuracy
• Exceptional copy capability with variable
bandwidth control from 500Hz to 200 kHz
in 1Hz increments
• System Configuration flexibility to
support mission objectives
