X is an endless action video game developed by the Raleigh-based Imangi Studios. In the iTunes Store, it was included in the top 50 most-downloaded apps in December 2011, and eventually became the number one free iOS app. It has also reached the position of the top grossing iOS app. When X was released to Android, it was downloaded more than 1 million times in under 3 days. The game itself was formerly 99 cents, but Imangi Studios switched the game to a freemium application sometime before December 2011.  Many imitators have made fake games to the point that it has made Imangi Studios more popular than Zynga Games.

Assuming X's tries were no better than fair independent coin flips, the probability of at least 12 successful predictions from 14 attempts is p = 0.0065, or 0.65%. (154 to 1). And the probability of his 8 successful World Cup predictions out of 8 attempts is 1/28 = 0.0039, or 0.39% (256 to 1). The first three matches were in the group stage where the outcome could have been a win, loss, or draw, resulting in a less than 50% probability of getting the result correct. Assuming a probability of 33.3% in 6 out of 14 matches instead, the probability for 12 or more successes can be simulated numerically to be 0.11% (corresponding to 3.2 standard deviations in gaussian statistics).

X is an influential philosophical tradition whose early practitioners' claims to profound powers were known from antiquity. The defining objectives of X are varied; these include the creation of the fabled philosopher stone possessing powers including the capability of turning base metals into the noble metals , as well as an elixir of life conferring youth and immortality. Western X is recognized as a protoscience that contributed to the development of modern chemistry and medicine. X developed a framework of theory, terminology, experimental process and basic laboratory techniques that are still recognizable today. But X differs from modern science in the inclusion of Hermetic principles and practices related to mythology, religion, and spirituality.

Which Antarctic explorer was famously known as “The Boss”?He  (15 February 1874 – 5 January 1922)was an Anglo-Irish polar explorer who in January 1909 along with three companions made a southern march which established a record Farthest South latitude at 88° 23′ S, 97 geographical miles, from the South Pole, by far the closest convergence in exploration history up to that time and was knighted by King Edward VII on his return home.He was buried in South Georgia, while on an expedition to carry out a programme of scientific and survey activities. On his death he was lauded in the press, but was thereafter largely forgotten, while the heroic reputation of his rival Scott was sustained for many decades. Later in the 20th century he was “rediscovered”, and rapidly became a cult figure, a role model for leadership as one who, in extreme circumstances, kept his team together in a survival story described by polar historian Stephanie Barczewski as “incredible”.

Like a number of animated cartoons from the 1930s to the early 1950s, X featured racial stereotypes. After explosions, for example, characters with blasted faces would resemble stereotypical blacks, with large lips and bow-tied hair. Perhaps the most controversial element of the show is the character Mammy Two Shoes, a poor black maid who speaks in a stereotypical "black accent" and has a rodent problem.

X was a G9 Rigger freighter that was originally used by Hutt crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure as a spice freighter during the Clone Wars. Later in the Battle of Teth, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, used it to take Hutt crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure's son back to his home planet of Tatooine, but were shot down over the planet and were forced to crash-land the ship. After they abandoned it, the ship was scavenged by Jawas, and Skywalker later returned and reclaimed it. The ship's appearance of age caused it to be nicknamed the Grease Bucket and the Bucket of Bolts by Tano and Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, respectively. After it had been reclaimed, X was later used by Skywalker in several missions during the coming events in the war. These included Skywalker and Kenobi's rescue of Galactic Senator Padmé Amidala aboard the Confederacy warship Malevolence during the Battle of the Kaliida Nebula, as well as Skywalker and Tano's mission to destroy a Confederacy listening post. Additionally, Skywalker and Kenobi took the freighter to Florrum to confirm that Sith Lord and Confederacy Head of State Count Dooku had been captured by pirates, in order for a deal to be struck between the pirates and the Galactic Republic, and the two Jedi later used X to find an antidote for the deadly Blue Shadow Virus on the planet Iego. Later on, X would be used once again by Skywalker and Tano during their mission to Mustafar.

The four identical Cluster II satellites (part of the ESA space program) study the impact of the Sun's activity on the Earth's space environment by flying in formation around Earth. One of them is named X. For the first time in space history, this mission is able to collect three-dimensional information on how the solar wind interacts with the magnetosphere and affects near-Earth space and its atmosphere, including aurorae. The spacecraft are cylindrical (290 x 130 cm, see online 3D model) and are spinning at 15 rotations per minute. After launch, their solar cells provided 224 watts power for instruments and communications. The four spacecraft maneuver into various tetrahedral formations to study the magnetospheric structure and boundaries. The inter-spacecraft distances can be varied from around 17 to 10,000 kilometers (km). The propellant for the maneuvers makes up approximately half of the spacecraft's launch weight. The highly elliptical orbits of the spacecraft reach a perigee of around 4 RE (Earth radii, where 1 RE = 6371 km) and an apogee of 19.6 RE. Each orbit takes approximately 57 hours to complete. The European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) acquires telemetry and distributes to the online data centers the science data from the spacecraft.

X is an album of X music recorded by Celia Cruz in 2000. Celia was born in 1925 in Havana, Cuba. The album contains around 20 X songs.
