WHAT IS PRAISE Express warm approval,
commendation or admiration
Praise is proclaiming, declaring things about
God!!Ps. 48:1
“Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised”
Our praise should be in proportion to God's
greatness which means it has to be measureless.
WHY PRAISE GOD?
Praise Elevates us into God’s Presence and
Power
When we praise God nothing happens to God but something beautiful
happens within us
Not because He needs it but we are dependent
on His response to praise
Praise Sends the Enemy Running Praise repels the presence of Satan
An atmosphere which is filled with sincere worship and praise to God by humble and contrite hearts is disgusting to the Devil.
He fears the Power in the name of JESUS

Power of Praise in the Bible
“...I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalms 34:1)
Paul and Silas in prison : Acts 16
Pentecost : Acts 2
King David
PRAISE is the form of prayer which recognizes most immediately that God is God. It lauds God for his own sake and gives him glory, quite beyond what he does, but simply because HE IS. It shares in the blessed happiness of the pure of heart who love God in faith before seeing him in glory. By praise, the Spirit is joined to our spirits to bear witness that we are children of God, testifying to the only Son in whom we are adopted and by whom we glorify the Father. Praise embraces the other forms of prayer and carries them toward him who is its source and goal: the "one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist”.
