Eastview Maintenance Ministry is looking for your talents. We have been blessed with a large, wonderful building in which we have the privilege of doing Kingdom work. Sometimes the building requires extra help to keep it in good working order, so we are looking for teams to aid in the upkeep of our 3500 campus. Teams would volunteer as projects are identified. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY Contact: [email protected] Nursery: An Infant Room is available for infants and their mothers. The Family Room is equipped with a TV feed of the service, toys, and a microwave.
April 2 is Training Sunday for all Children's Ministry Volunteers. All Children's Ministry Programming will be closed. The nursery rooms will be open and available for families to use, but will be unsupervised. Room 105 will be open for parents to drop off children ages 3 through grade 6 for supervised play and activities. Fusion Sunday - April 23: The main purpose of Fusion is to provide a Sunday morning shared experience so that families are empowered with tools that will lead to Christ-centred, life-transforming relationships.
Theme: God's Spirit Unifies Bible Story: Ascension and the Gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:1-11; 2)
On April 23 there will be NO KidsTown Gr. 1-4 or Club 56 programming and parents will join their children in the Sanctuary for either 9:15 or 11:15 for this Fusion event. Nursery and KidsTown Junior Programming will run as usual.

Sunday, April 2, 2017: “Today, You Will Be With Me In Paradise” Luke 23.39-43; 1 Corinthians 1.18-25 Themes: Faith, doubts, grace, salvation
One of the most memorable characters in the gospels is the thief on the cross. He only appears at the end of Jesus’ earthly life and at the end of his own life of sin, as he is saved for all eternity. As disciples of Christ, we are often plagued by doubts and must cry out “help me overcome my unbelief” (Mark 9:24). This week, consider Romans 8:28-39 and ask God to help you overcome your unbelief. Journal your thoughts or share them with someone close to you. Challenge: Offer to pray for someone (even someone you just met) as they share a need with you, being confident that you are sharing God’s power, not your own. Easter weekend is just around the corner. The week between Palm Sunday (April 9) and Good Friday is called Holy Week. Worship Design Team is preparing a wide variety of Holy Week activities for you to participate in, to help you prepare for Easter. Check your bulletin insert this morning for details.
