A large scale redevlopment of a former car dealership and service centre set within a bustling urban district of Southamptonhowever it also stretches to a more sub-urban residential area and the rear of the site.

The project provides 1-2 bed flats within four separate blocks along with 3 and four bed houses.

A total of 103 units were successfully granted planning permission

The blocks also accommodate a small number of family homes, consisting of 2 storeys units each with its own private amenity area.

A redevelopment of a disued brownfield site to provide a development of affordable flats.

The scheme was built using a design and build contract and Urban Pulse Architects were novated to act the working drawing architects once we successfully gained planning permission.

This scheme comprises of 146 dwellings on an overall site of 4.9 hectares taking it’s access from Battle Road.

The development responds positively to the character and appearance of the site and it’s surroundings, respects the existing landscape and features whilst maintaining the privacy of the adjoining residential properties.

The site covers 4.07 hectares of land at the western end of Aldershot town centre. It is bounded by Wellington Avenue to north and west, Oberursel Way and Alexandra Road to the south, and Barrack Road and Princes Way to the east.

The application site also includes the Princes Hall, the Police Station and Magistrates Court and these facilities will remain upon completion of the development. The health centre will remain until its relocation to the new Centre for Health when completed.

The main application proposes a major redevelopment of the site to help support the continuing regeneration of Aldershot town centre.

The various elements of the scheme can be summarised as follows:1. 7 screen cinema2. Bingo hall3. Nightclub4. Health and fitness centre and other leisure facilities5. Restaurants and bars6. Retail units7. 108 bed hotel8. New multi-storey car park9. Replacement doctors surgery10. 445 residential apartments

Our brief was to create a development which would acknowledge it’s water front location and ensure that all flats were designed to take full advantage of the stunning views of Poole Harbour and beyond.

The scheme provides 96 apartments and a restaurant. Integral parking is located across two floors and access is provided via a car lift.

The design approach was to deliver a building with sophisticated and robust architecture, combining strong building forms with a contemporary palette of materials and providing a quality urban waterfront environment.

Battle Road, Hailsham

The existing Grade II listed property set within the ANOB was previously used as a School for difficult children. Set within magnificent grounds within which there is an expansive range of specimen mature trees some of which were the best in the country. The grounds abutted a deer park where herds of deer freely roamed adjacent the boundary fences. The development comprised of the conversion of the former stately house into four substantial homes and the former dormitories into one and two bedroom apartments. A courtyard development of two and half storey houses replaced the former pre-fabricated classrooms.

A contemporary collection of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments, situated on the High Street in the heart of Southampton’s vibrant city centre, close to shops, and restaurants, built by Galliford Try’s regional home builder : Linden Homes Southern.

The redevelopment has transformed an existing redundant commercial building which was considered an eyesore, into a contemporary residential development. There are retail units and a doctors surgery incorporated into the ground floor ensuring a vibrant street level frontage.

A superb development of prestige homes comprising 5 blocks of flats and 4 blocks of terrance houses located in a desirable area of Winchester.

Car parking is located underground below four of the blocks of flats. Both the houses and flats over look a community amenity area that defines the whole development.

The flats are timber framed structures built off a transfer slab and the houses are masonry with concrete floors throughout.
