There are 181 Publix locations in Ga.

Publix – Coupon Policy Publix has their coupon policy online. You can find a copy

here. It’s a good idea to keep a copy of the coupon policy in your

coupon binder.

Publix – BOGO Sales Publix offers a large

selection of BOGO products each week.

Middle Ga’s local ad changes on Wednesdays.

Farther north, the ad changes on Thursdays.

In Ga, each BOGO item rings up at ½ price. You don’t have to buy two of the item to get the discount.

In FL, the first item rings up full price and the second item rings up as 0.00.

Coupons can be used on EACH item.

Publix – Double Manufacturer Coupons up to .50

Most Publix stores double manufacturer’s coupons up to .50.

Coupons don’t double in the state of FL.

Publix – Store CouponsPublix has a display

located near the front entrance that usually holds the weekly ads and some current coupon books.

If you don’t see them, just ask at Customer Service for a few of the current coupon books.

Occasionally there are displays located in other parts of the store with store coupons.

can be stacked with manufacturer’s coupons.

You can find store coupons online, in emails, in store inside the weekly circulars and special in store inserts, special mailings from Publix, including many “clubs” that Publix offers. (More on those later)

Publix – Advantage Buy Flyer Publix offers a green

Advantage Buy Flyer that contains store coupons and sale items.

The sales in the flyer are in addition to the weekly sales ad and usually last for several weeks.

The store coupons can be paired with manufacturer coupons.

Publix – Health and Beauty FlyerPublix also offers a

Health and Beauty flyer.

The sales in the flyer are in addition to the weekly sales ads and the green Advantage Buy flyer.

These store coupons can be combined with manufacturer coupons.

Publix – Weekly Ad CouponsPublix usually

has several coupons that can be found in the weekly sales ad.

These coupons can also be printed from Publix.com when you review the ad online.

Publix – The Best Meals Happen At Home

Publix offers coupons through email for many products each month.

Occasionally we will see store displays with the same coupons.

Sign up here and receive printable store coupons each month.

Publix – Stocking Spree Publix offers a

monthly coupon book called Stocking Spree.

Sign up here to get the coupon book delivered to your home.

We will occasionally see these same coupons in a store display.

Publix – Competitor’s Coupons Publix accepts competitor’s

coupons. They act as store coupons and can be combined with a manufacturer’s coupon.

You can’t combine a competitor’s coupon with a Publix store coupon AND a manufacturer’s coupon. It has to either be a Publix store coupon OR a competitor’s coupon combined with the manufacturer’s coupon.

Each Publix store determines which stores they accept as competitors. There is usually a notice posted at the entrance that gives the list and a printed sheet that you can obtain and keep in your coupon binder.

Publix – Digital CouponsPublix offers digital

coupons that can be loaded to your account online or with the Publix smart phone app.

Digital coupons are manufacturer’s coupons.

You type in your phone number on the key pad when you check out to take advantage of your digital coupons.

Publix – Publix Store Magazines – Family Style

Publix offers Family Style magazine six times a year – for free!

The magazine includes many valuable coupons, articles and recipes. There are magazines available in store, but the in store magazines don’t offer the same amount of coupons.

Publix – Publix Store Magazines - Grape

Publix also offers a quarterly magazine for wine lovers called Grape.

Grape magazine includes many coupons and recipes.

Publix – Publix Store Programs – Baby Club Publix offers a Baby Club

for children up to 24 months old.

Publix will mail you valuable coupons on a regular basis – including coupons for FREE stuff!

Most are store coupons that can be combined with manufacturer’s coupons.

First time moms get a free copy of Caring For Your Baby and Young Child – Birth to Age 5.

Publix offers their Paws program for pet owners.

Publix sends a monthly email with printable store coupons that can add up to big savings on pet products.

Publix – Publix Store Programs – Preschool Pals

Publix offers a Preschool Pals program for children ages 2 to 4.

You get access to educational websites, free prizes for the kids, downloadable games, educational information and many other fun activities.

Publix – Publix Upromise Publix is a member of

the Upromise network that we discussed earlier.

You can pick up a Upromise card at checkout and link it to your Upromise account.

Be sure to have the cashier scan your card each time you check out to get the most savings!

Publix – Penny Item On the day that the new

sale starts each week (Wednesdays here in middle Ga), Publix offers an item for only a penny with a $10 order.

There is a coupon listed in the Wednesday sales circular or on one of the pages of your local newspaper that is needed for the Penny Item.

If you don’t see the Penny Item in a display, just ask any employee and they can let you know what the item is for the day.

Publix – Pharmacy Savings Publix Pharmacy offers a

monthly coupon booklet with Publix store coupons.

Publix Pharmacy also offers certain diabetes medication, antibiotics, blood pressure and heart medications for FREE – including amlodipine, lisinopril, Amoxicillin, ampicillin, Sulfamethoxazole/ Trimethoprim (SMZ-TMP), Ciprofloxacin (excluding Ciprofloxacin XR),

Penicillin VK and metformin

Publix – Pharmacy Savings Publix offers a Diabetes

Management Program. You can sign up for a newsletter and get coupons for health related items.

Publix offers a free blood glucose meter and $10 off your copay for 100 count test strips.

Publix pharmacy can also automatically sync your refills for all your prescriptions so you can pick them all up at one time. This can all be done online.

Publix – Senior Discount Day In Ga (unless things

have changed and I am unaware), seniors 60+ get a 5% discount on Wednesdays. The discount doesn’t apply in FL.

If you are in an area where the sale starts on Thursday, the discount may be on Thursday. Check your particular store to be sure.

Publix – Price Scan GuaranteeThe Publix Promise

guarantees that if a product scans for a higher price than the corresponding shelf tag, you will receive one of those items for free.

Each additional item purchased will be at the lower price.

Publix – Buy Theirs Get Our Free

Publix has a promotion throughout the year where you can buy a name brand item and get the Publix brand of the same item for free.

This is an excellent deal because Publix brand items are “private label” meaning they are made by leading national brands and are of comparable quality and taste.

If we are lucky, we will have coupons for the national brand items!

Publix – Gas Card DealsPublix will often have

a coupon for $10 off a $50 gas card when you buy $50 in groceries.

The $50 purchase threshold is before coupons.

This deal is usually only good for three days of the sale (Fri-Sun) and is a great way to save on gas.

Publix – Rain Checks If your Publix is out of a

sale item they will issue you a rain check good for 30 days for up to 10 of the product.

This might also be a page that you want to print and keep in your coupon binder.

Publix will also accept your expired coupon if it was active during the time of the sale on the rain checked item. See here for this policy.

Publix – Rebates Publix offers many different

rebate opportunities throughout the year.

Most purchase requirements for the rebates can be accumulated over several different receipts.

Check each rebate carefully to see if the rebate total needed is before or after other discounts (which includes coupons) so that you will know the accurate purchase requirements.

Publix – Extras – Employee Compliments

You will definitely receive excellent service at Publix. They are known for their great customer service, which makes Publix a great place to shop.

If an employee receives a compliment, Publix gives them a free deli meal! How awesome is that?
