Certificate Program in Parent Education d THE ADLER CENTRE Practicing Community Compassion Description The program provides the skills to design, prepare, and facilitate parenting workshops. We offer a stimulating blend of conceptual understanding of Adlerian theory and best practice in Parent Education using experiential learning. With a Doctoral and Masters level faculty, we offer a unique opportunity to learn at a high level in an intimate setting. This program is compulsory for applicants seeking future Certification as a Certified Parenting Facilitator (CPF). Prerequisites • Member of the Adlerian Psychology xAssociation of British Columbia (APABC) • Completion of an 8-week STEP parenting xprogram (ask us for more information) • Current criminal record check • Interview with the program director Open to The General Public – PCTIA* requirements restrict the Certificate trainings to Canadian citizens; International students may attend for Continuing Education Credits only.
