Practice Management History

This initiative was originally funded in 2001, by a joint effort among the Georgia Department of Community Health, Office of Rural Health Services, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Southern Rural Access Program support of Rural Enrichment and Access Program for Health (REAP) and the Georgia Statewide AHEC Network. Due to sustainability of the program, our service implemented a fee-for-service with discounts based upon geographic and provider payor mix factors.
