ABBREVIATED CALL SIGN (1 OF2)
To abbreviate or shorten, a full call sign, you should eliminate the first two characters of the full call sign.

TWO TYPES OF NETS
DIRECTED-NET You must obtain permission from NCS to transmit.
FREE-NET NCS will authorize net member stations to transmit
traffic to other stations in the net without obtaining permission from NCS.
