The Quarter Century Club got its start on April 1 at a kick-off meeting in the cafeteria for all eligible members. Mr. Lord opened the meeting by commenting that the Corporation would provide the necessary assistance for employees having the common bond of long service to join together as an organization symbolizing good fellowship and pride of workmanship at Lord Corporation.

Continued from 1968 April issue of LORDFACTS:

“It is interesting to note,” Mr. Lord added, “that the 136 eligible members represent 3812 years of service while age years total 7280.” These figures indicate that the members of this group, on the average, have spent more than half of their lives at LORD.

The QCC Board of directors would like to express our sympathy to the Hedderick family for the passing of Keith. Keith was an active member of this and other organizations throughout LORD during his service with the company. We greatly appreciate all of the effort Keith put into proof-reading the member list so many years. He will be greatly missed.
