Major businesses in thissector includeagriculture, fishing,forestry and all miningand quarrying industries

Primary industry is a larger sector in developing countries; for instance,animal husbandry is more common in Africa than in Japan.

The secondary sector (manufacturing)produces finished, usable products. Thissector of industry generally takes theoutput of the primary sector andmanufactures finished goods or wherethey are suitable for use by other
