What skills have you developed through this module and how effectively do you think you have applied them? Throughout this module and the past academic year I’ve progressed with my presenting skills, I no longer get the shakes in front of the class as I used to in the first year. Which is a pretty big thing for me because It’ something that always concerned me. As well as that, Life’s a Pitch gave me the chance to work with a whole new crowd of people I haven’t had the chance to work with, although It wasn’t doing graphic design I did really enjoy the experience and with it improved my communication skills when operating within a group. It’s a much different experience to working collaboratively or as a group working on a design brief. 2. What strengths can you identify in your work and how have/will you capitalise on these? Presenting I feel is becoming a strength for me slowly, although it’s still early, I feel It’s something I can see my self-been fully comfortable in doing in the 3 rd year. However it’s still something I need to work on, but it’s the place where I’ve seen the most progress in my self in hindsight. 3. What weaknesses can you identify in your work and how will you address these in the future? My biggest flaw currently is most definitely Time management, perhaps mostly in this module. I put it on the furthest back burner and forgot to move to further into my priorities. I did attempt to address it with whiteboards and making use of my wall calendar. But I ignored them for the most part, seeing a big list demotivated me. I’m not sure how I’m going to address it, I just need to discover a method that works for me best that’s different to how I’m currently working. 4. Identify what you will do differently next time and what do you expect to gain from doing them? 1. Blog PPP all year round, it won’t then creep on me when it comes to hand in. 2. Find a method to improve my time management to help with getting work done ahead of time. 3. Contact more people throughout the year to get my self-known further afield. 4. Attend more events to further the above.

Presenting I feel is becoming a strength for me slowly, although it’s still early, I feel It’s something I can see my self-been fully comfortable in doing in the 3rd year.

2. Find a method to improve my time management to help with getting work done ahead of

time. 3. Contact more people throughout the year to get my self-known further afield. 4. Attend more events to further the above.

6.How would you grade yourself on the following areas: (please indicate using an ‘x’) 5= excellent, 4 = very good, 3 = good, 2 = average, 1 = poor 1 2 3 4 5 Attendance 5 Punctuality 5 Motivation 3 Commitment 3 Quantity of work produced 4 Quality of work produced 4 Contribution to the group 5 The evaluation of your work is an important part of the assessment criteria and represents a percentage of the overall grade. It is essential that you give yourself enough time to complete your written evaluation fully and with appropriate depth and level of self-reflection. If you have any questions relating to the self evaluation process speak to a member of staff as soon as possible.
