The idea behind this exhibition is to present outstanding art work to generate a deeper and high insight of modern art as is

currently being developed.

It's a brilliant manifestation and a unique expression with multiple and very

personal accents. Each of the artists, from the magnificent uniqueness, expressed his

interior in a captivating language and persevering in the dramatic and beautiful

advance of their being. This exhibition is a tribute to art through their protagonists,

who become present with works that have especially accomplish for this occasion.

They are artists who embody feelings and emotions, through a very

high standard of learning, empowered in each of their works.

An art that viewers can interpreted, enjoy and dream about creating an intellectual

and spiritual bond with it, in an unforgettable experience that reminds

what is essential is invisible to the eye, as writes Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

in "The Little Prince“.

The Art is a gate that releases the soul of the artist, as well as of the viewer in plastic

work, which is a journey to a very special state of inner connection and happiness.

To collect these works is the result of an artistic experience of life in which you

never stop appreciating art, as each piece is a goal in itself, and also the result of a

story: has the power to promote all kinds of emotions, feelings and learnings that

intellect often can not explain.

The historical moment that the world is experiencing is also unique, and

as in all eras, the artists give a message in the current present, because

art is a product of the human soul. This is a tribute to art and its creators in a way that the very essence of art feels alive and transcends, like it will call to a better

world. It is a collection of works by impor-tant artists in Peru, some of whom have

been my professors and had influenced my work. I also have the words of Jorge

Villacorta, who is a friend and art critic.

We are part of the time in the evolution. These words make it clear that art is inten-

ded to provide a unique message to the public and the universe in which he lives.

The most interesting painting today is characterized by the presence of different explorations that match a spirit and a will of the eras, and are a sign that many of the national painters are not satisfied with the progress achieved in the present time.

The ways of approaching to the pictorial creation are very different between them. Among the painters, there are those who use the Abstraction and work the breakdown of the form that might represent something to give way to an intense and high tension, that do not gave truce or respite and his art awakens in us lifting and anxiety at the same time.

Others take as its primary intention, the transformation of the reality photographed, from an image found attractive, or that they have captured through a photographic device, process painted images in which the truth, that we associate with our perception of reality, is called into question, fictions that seem real.

Among today Peruvian painters, however, there are some who have not entirely given up to proceed traditionally in art

Page 7: Ppf art show ingles negro nov 2012

and they paint in a natural way, based on their ability to observe a place or situation; they faithfully conform to a chosen environment that are interpreting or translating into a personal view, while defining contours that make the public able to recognize what is familiar or identifiable. In the opposite side, are those who paint deforming the image that we have from the things and that make us recognize them; they dismantled our idea of the world and with the parts they rebuilt one dimension of distortion, of personal sensations of what we associate to the world of dreams (or nightmare), which sometimes is added a sense of humor, which may contain rare and unusually sinister accents.

This is just a glimpse into a wide field and requires a lot of attention from us, because art is something that requires available time and rapport and we will do badly if we ignore it: is the voice of the present, that is projected in freedom.

JESUS FUERTES (1938-2006) a student of Picasso, is without a doubt a world-class master. His background was extensive and covered a

span of close to fifty years. His involvement in the art world started long ago and for the most part, his

activities have been deeply devoted to the study of the many different art forms of the last few centuries.

Moreover, his knowledge extended into the realm of classical European schools, from the fifteenth century,

to the end of the nineteenth century, which affected the world forever by giving birth to romanticism.

During these historical periods, the art world was to become a platform for self-expression, starting with the primitive Flamenco tendencies, followed by the

influential Italian Rebirth, and then, the fantastic Golden Spanish Century.

His work can be found in many important collections in Europe, America, and Latin America. His work is

owned by the Royal Families of Monaco, Belgium, Spain, and the Dutch Royal Family and is on

permanent display at the University of La Sorbonne, France.

Jamali Fine Art, Art & Peace

Jamali's artistic career had unconventional beginnings, true to the

maverick's path that he always followed. Thirty years ago, a vision came to him

and a dream guide commanded him to paint. In response, Jamali invented a

unique style of "mystical expressionism," a marriage of contemporary

consciousness and art's most ancient traditions. He has been painting

professionally for 25 years. During that period Jamali has emphasized the

development of surfaces as a medium. Being a student of the sciences Jamali

learned early on the process of experimentation, manipulating and

combining different elements to gain desired results. Jamali used this

technique in his works by experimenting with different materials to create new

surfaces. He is a master of several techniques: oils, acrylics, pigmentations

on cork, sumi ink, and his own technique called fresco tempera.

Polanco

“Cine Alfa”

Carlos Enrique Polanco (Lima, 1953), is a Peruvian expressionist painter. He studied at

the “Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes” (School of Fine Arts). His first teacher was

Leonel Velarde, a friend of Victor Humareda; he said that "the love for

painting was given to me by Victor Humareda." He won a scholarship to study

in China, this makes him to start drawing paintings with a more philosophical

background. From the beginning he was drawn to the less privileged urban sectors of Lima City. His work reflects the iconography

of the Peruvian urban nightlife. Polanco is an artist with a social commentary. In his

works, he shows a strong social conscience, a historical concern. Currently, Polanco is a

chronicler of contemporary Latin American society, representing survivors of urban

struggle as the winners of the social battle. He has made numerous presentations at

national and international level.

Ale Sala Photography Serie from the exposition “Tras el Telón”/ "Behind the Curtains". "Behind the Curtain is a bright reflection of what may be the interpretation and duality in human being. With the skill and sweetness of a young photographer, this work shows great strength with elegance and internal search of reasons that may go beyond understanding. In this work there is a parallelism inherent in our history and our society. Each unique piece, with its potential way, takes us to discover what each being has been stored beyond their masks and defenses. With an inspiring and beautiful vision, we are transported to that beautiful inner world that reflects our thoughts. Each of us, with freewill, has the option to turn it beautiful and maybe complete. Not always found logic in the vision or reason."
